The Ardent cable car provides direct access to the Avoriaz ski area, featuring 600km of sunny slopes to suit all levels, where skiers and snowboarders can roam between Morzine, ChĂątel and Switzerland. For novice skiers and young families, there are plenty of fantastic green and blue slopes around Avoriaz, where you can spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace. When summer arrives, Les Lindarets becomes a quaint alpine village where hundreds of goats roam the streets in place of winter sports enthusiasts! Take care driving or cycling here but do make sure to visit to take in this incredibly unique sight, accompanied by the dreamlike sound of chiming bells.
Afterwards, visit the emerald waters of Lake Montriond, with its backdrop of immense cliffs and verdant woodlands. Enjoy a serene swim, an afternoon of water sports or a picnic in the sun here before a gentle hike to the cascading waters of the Brochaux Waterfall. Les Lindarets is also home to fantastic local food producers, so you can pick up some delicious cheese on your way home to Chalet Grand-Duc!
