Short stay on way to the ferry
We stayed for the night on our way to the ferry. We stayed with our 2 small dogs and the service was great and the dogs were made welcome

Hotel con mucho encanto. Muy bien decorado, original y con mucho gusto. Atención personal de 10. Atentos y con predisposición a resolver cualquier duda, de hecho han sido tan resolutivos que nos han reservado cena en el restaurante de enfrente ya que llegábamos algo tarde. El desayuno genial. Fruta, zumo natural, dulces de la zona y tostada salada con varias opciones. Fantastich

Estuvimos encantados, todo muy cuidado con detalles desde la habitación hasta el desayuno, (todo riquísimo y cantidades generosas). Cama muy cómoda, y baño también, espacioso. Ellos son muy agradables , intentan ayudarte y hacerte una estancia súper agradable. Sin duda repetiremos

Absolutely beautiful village hotel and restaurant over the road. Lovely owner and the rooms were spotless. it was a stop over for us through Spain on the way to Santander Ferry, would have loved to have stayed longer to see the small but lovely village. Will definitely visit again and stay at the hotel.

Un descubrimiento en Tierra de Campos
Pasamos una noche en nuestro regreso a casa. Este hotel ha sido realmente un descubrimiento. En un pueblo tranquilo cerca de la autopista, bien comunicado y con muchas cosas que ver a poca distancia. Muy buena localización por ejemplo para visitar el Canal de Castilla. Beatriz nos atendió estupendamente. Todo está muy cuidado y lleno de detalles. Cenamos en ese patio tan mono y fresquito que tienen. La cena riquísima, descubrimos sabores nuevos en esa carta tan original que ofrecen. El desayuno muy bueno también. La habitación, en la buhardilla, no tenía aire acondicionado pero dormimos estupendamente con la ventana abierta por la que entraba un fresquito superagradable. En fin, muy recomendable, volveremos si pasamos de nuevo por la zona.
La subida a la habitación de la buhardilla, no hay ascensor pero te anima el ver en los escalones las calorías que vas quemando 😉

Charming hotel for stopover Santander.
We were travelling from Santander to Murcia. The ferry had docked late at 19 15. It was dark and the eta was past the 22.00 hotel closing time. We weren't sure we would make it. Apart from getting lost when we left the main road, we arrived on time to a very friendly welcome. In fact people arrived after time and were still welcomed. There was a very smiley lady who spoke English. The hotel reminded us of rural French hotels- full of character and quirkiness. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. Just the job. There was a kettle on the landing below if needed. We had a 7.00 am start and we were pleased the buffet breakfast was laid out in the dining room for us to help ourselves. It was very close to the main road,in fact. We will definitely use this hotel again. There was also a nice looking restaurant opposite we hope to use next time.

A Cold and Frosty Night
We spent a long time looking for this Hotel, our GPS couldn't seem to find it and neither could we, we drove up and down the motorway out of Plascenia on a very cold, frosty and misty night and almost gave up trying. Eventually we stopped in a village a mile away and were directed to it. We were very glad to arrive safely and the Hotel was welcoming and cosy. We were so tired at this point we couldn't wait to have something to eat and retire to bed, so unfortunately we couldn't wait for the restaurant across the road to open for dinner at 9pm, so there were two small bars in the village and we had a snack in one and a nightcap in the other and went to bed. The Hotel itself is very quaint and the owner friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay again now that we know where it is.

Lovely hotel to break up journey south.
Couple of hours from Santander, just off motorway, so convenient for a stopover on the way to Costa Blanca. Lovely staff, very clean rooms with super crisp white sheets! Restaurant across the road, good food as well as the all important smooth and well-deserved Rioja. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent Location & Service
The hotel is within easy reach of the motorway to Santander. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, our room was very comfortable with a king size bed. Breakfast was a buffet of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
