There is no continental breakfast served like many hotels do, you have to order off a small expensive menu although coffee was free for the asking at the bar. Not much sound proofing between floors, it was very loud and at late hours.

We had a great experience staying at the Hotel Ranch Lodge. The location is absolutely perfect for outdoor activities. Everything was in proximity and within about a 10-15 minute drive. We were centrally located and easily filled our days exploring Big Sky, going river rafting, and riding ATVs, while Yellowstone was just under an hour away. It was so quiet and peaceful to just sit back and listen to the river.

“This is a beautiful resort in a quiet mountain setting. We were here during the summer so can't speak to what it is like for a ski vacation but from what we can see it looks conveniently located to the ski runs and there is a gondola that goes from the hotel to the ski resort.
