“We were there for my daughters wedding. We had 10 people staying in 5 rooms and everyone agreed this is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The handicap room was very spacious allowing for ease in wheelchair manuevering. I appreciated how close the room was to the elevayor as I cannot not walk very far. “This is a good hotel, without any negative surprises. I have used it at several occasions, since it is the only "normal" hotel in Slippery Rock. Unfortunately this also is reflected in the pricing, which is slightly higher than for other hotels of similar standard, located in other places where the competition is greater.”

Even half of the downstairs rooms have a small flight of stairs you need to go up. If you have mobility issues, this might be a challenge. I had torn my meniscus a couple years ago, and even after surgery, it’s still gets some twinges. It didn’t feel great after lugging my suitcases up a flight of stairs. “The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is at the good location with easy parking. The hotel needs some serious updates, The rooms are very small with older carpet. The windows were shut, so there was no airflow.”

“Internet signal was awful and slow if you could connect. No hand wash towels or a dirty laundry bag. But everything else was wonderful”

“This was definitely a no-frills stay, but overall, I was pleased. PROS: comfortable bed and pillows, window, air-conditioning and heating unit that worked, shower was hot, TV user-friendly, located in between a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Burger King. CONS: no elevator, no extras (things like blankets, hairdryer, iron), towels were very thin, mini-fridge did not work (I didn’t need it, so I didn’t complain), bathroom run-down/stained.”
