The good:-well equipped, warm, clean and comfortable. Whats not to like?
The bad:- the soundproofing between flats is very poor. The concrete outside steps are a bit scary. The silicon around the bath is needing refreshed. Also a note in the flat asking us to use (non-existent) street parking instead of the car park, due to an "ownership dispute ". However, the car park sign just states "at own risk" it is not labelled as private/permit/residents only, so we used it all three days with no issues (though we do have a disabled badge). There was no balcony as stated in the listing, just the stair landing.
The ugly:- the picture in the listing of the red sandstone building with the red circle around it is misleading...attached is a picture of the actual building. Fortunately the inside is charming.
We would definitely stay again, it was great value for money despite the "gripes" and very well appointed.
