We stayed over the July 4th holiday...perfect location for the fireworks!!! The cottage was very clean, and the host communicated with us in a timely manner. Unlike a majority of rentals, linens are not included and the kitchen has just the basics. Therefore, we had to pack a bit more than we typically do. The walk to the beach is a couple of blocks but you are in an area with restaurants and a few shops. We enjoyed the front deck which provided ample shade. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Gillade inte: Kommunikation
The location was great for the price. Had to buy sheets, towels and hand soap as the bedding we found was only enough for the king and half the queen bed. Communication with host/management company was hit or miss. If you stay here the location is very close to the beach and it is clean but you’ll need to bring everything with you.

Excellent location and overall great house. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness. The floors were gritty (sandy), there were food crumbs on the counters, one of the bathroom sinks looked dirty and the bed quilts on two of the beds were balled up at the head of the bed. Upon arriving it just was not inviting. Also, the furniture in the master bedroom had broken knobs and one of the tables in the great room needs repair or replacing, the legs were very loose.

We enjoyed staying in the location because it was easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. The house, which is in a family-friendly neighborhood, is very clean and nicely decorated. The host was very nice and helpful when we contacted him. It is one of the nicest places in which I have stayed during my many trips to Atlantic Beach.
