Settled in the 1800s, Blue Ridge was just a railroad stop. Now one of the state’s

Named for Revolutionary War hero James Blair, the tiny community of Blairsville is
nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Two
beautiful lakes — and the Appalachian Trail cutting through the area — are just a

● The Sounds of Silence: please limit outdoor use of speakers and other amplified sound equipment to 8:00 am through 10:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday; and 8:00 am through 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday
● We lovingly provide a starter kit for your arrival (5 trash bags under kitchen
sink, 1 roll of paper towels per kitchen, 3 rolls of t.p. per bathroom, small bars of body soap) — please anticipate any needs beyond that, and stock up in town or bring with.
● Suds and beans can be very personal choices. Please bring your own laundry
detergent and coffee.
● You’ll find an ample supply of dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap​.
● Need us? We got you, 7 days a week, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, just give us a buzz
and we’ll be there in two shakes of a lamb’s tail to help you with any unforeseen detail.

We provide guided check ins, recommendations on local hikes and sightseeing, and staff on hand from 9am to 9pm to help you with your stay. Each of our cabins feature an “Experience the Mountains” manual with suggestions for hikes, sightseeing, and restaurants. You aren’t just booking a cabin when you rent through Suches Vacation Rentals. It is our goal to help you connect with the area and find the activities you are looking to enjoy while visiting Suches, in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Call or text us between 9am-9pm for help finding the perfect fun during your stay.

Suches Vacation Rentals provides the following amount of basic goods as a Starter Kit for your arrival at the cabin:

Kitchen Trash Bags - 5 (under the kitchen sink)
Paper Towels - 1 Roll per Kitchen
Toilet Paper - 3 per bathroom
Body Soap - Small sample bar soaps (with welcome kit in kitchen)

Please make a note, this is a starter kit for your arrival. If you feel that you'll need more of these items you'll want to bring them with you or purchase them while you are in town.

Since coffee and laundry detergent can be very personal choices we encourage you to bring those with you as we do not provide them.

An ample supply of dish soap, dish detergent, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap are provided.

Suches Vacation Rentals operates in a beautiful but very remote area of the North Georgia Mountains. Because professional linen services are not available locally, we personally handle all laundering in-house. Each guest is provided with two freshly cleaned towels.

If you find you need extras, you’ll find a set of “seconds” under the bathroom counter. These are clean towels that have been dyed and repurposed to extend their life. While they may show mild wear or faint imperfections, they are freshly washed and perfectly suitable for use.

We appreciate your understanding and your help in supporting our efforts to conserve resources and reduce waste while maintaining comfort for every guest.
