However, located on the Nepean Highway where audible fast moving traffic and cars filling at the petrol station next door starts at 4am and slows down around midnight. Family rooms face the road. Traffic noise is particularly loud in room 8 on the ground floor. Mia very kindly and empathetically moved us to another quieter room making it possible to sleep after the first night. “Property was listed as having a queen bed, 2 singles and a queen sofa bed. What it actually had was a queen bed (which was comfy, clean, enough blankets, all good), a sofa bed which wasn’t great to sleep on, and one small thin mattress over a slab of wood basically which was meant to be one of the single beds, and no second single bed. My sister had the worst first night’s sleep and almost went and booked a room elsewhere for the second night. We actually thought we’d booked into a retro themed...

“Great little cottage, very comfortable and clean. Nice to have the open fireplace with plenty of firewood available on a cold evening. Lovely touch with the fresh bread and homemade jams for the morning. Secure yard for the dog, a bit of a mix up through the booking but all sorted out with owner easy enough. “We had a great golf weekend away with 16 people. The house was perfect, even with that many people, it still felt so roomy. All the facilities are top class. Pool was amazing. Communication with the host as excellent and clear from the very beginning. Would highly recommend to anyone and look forward to staying again in the future. ”
