“Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay. Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too. We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...

“We spent the night here as we had an early flight in the morning. It was great - quiet, very comfortable mattress, just next to the airport and with a pub that serves food then minutes walk up the road.”

“We stayed in the family room which was large and spacious.The food was great we had steak and Guinness pie which was lovely .The breakfast was great .An enjoyable area ,we will look to stay again to explore the area a bit more as we stayed here on our way to Scotland ”

“The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.”
