âWe enjoyed our stay here. The location is just a few blocks from the main drag and restaurants. It was a very homey place and the breakfast and happy hour were nice . Fridge was stocked with water and ice. Our room was right at the entrance but was mostly quiet. However, it seemed the water pipes were really loud and we could hear alot of noise. I supposed thats one of the compromises with a bed and breakfast but it was not a deal breaker by any means. Staff was overall friendly..but not...
âNice room comfy bed. Odd situation with bathroom sink hot water. It wouldnât get warm unless shower was also turned on. The girl at reception listened and then said âhow oddâ. We agreed it was. As we were checking out we donât know if or how it was resolved â
âCleaning staff, valets, and front desk personnel were most kind, friendly and extremely hospitable. Tour of lobby's art exhibit was led by a woman (whose name escapes me) who arranged the exhibit and answered my many questions about each painting/ art piece and the artist who creeated it. The night manager, Gregory, was especially friendly and helpful to me on the night I arrived. We chatted at length.â

âConvenient location. Super room. Nice staff. Loved that we could cook and do laundry in our suite. The little cafe is nice for breakfast too. The only thing I didn't like was the push by the concierge to attend a time share pitch. â

âStayed over a weekend for softball tournament at The Shipyard. This location was an easy 20 minute drive and close to good restaurants, shopping and the beach. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The washer and dryer on site were nice for washing uniforms after a post game trip to the beach. Breakfast was good with lots of options. I would stay here again! â
âTo charge 8 dollars for a bottle of water in the room when you pay 550 dollars a night is just so unattractive. Furtheron, also there was a note saying enjoy the bath amenities like cotton pads during your stay - if you bring some home there will be a charge! â
âWe spent four fantastic days at the Spectator Hotel with our kids (12+13) and was completely blown away by the impeccable high standard and impressive service level. It was like being welcomed into someoneâs home - but better! We felt like royalties and appreciated everything about the hotel from the welcome and complimentary drink, to the lounge bar, our room, breakfast, valet parking service to the generous refill of the minbar and all the great sightseeing tips.
