Oak Flats Farm - Pet Friendly - Star Link - Outdoor Shower

We are offering a quiet space overlooking our main pasture and pond nestled under Oak trees. Our 20 acre farm is surrounded by mature Oaks giving it a secluded feel and is fully fenced for privacy and safety.

We provide a double bed, basic kitchen amenities, a half bath, and an outdoor shower. If you want more sleeping space feel free to pitch a tent or message me about bringing in a trailer.

We live just across the pond and are available when needed and meet each guest upon arrival.

Morriston is located Levy county, lovingly nicknamed the "Nature Coast" in Florida. Lots to do near by! Some of our favorites are snorkeling at Devils Den, Kayaking down Rainbow River, and meeting up with friends and family at Blue Springs.

A Little Piece of Paradise

My husband and I desperately needed a getaway and we found the perfect spot...Oak Flats Farm!No people, no traffic, only the sounds of nature. We especially loved the fact that the farm has cows, sheep and chickens. We set up our beach chairs and just watched the animals in the pastures. The little cabin was adorable with everything you need.There is an outside shower which is pretty unique.We even found eggs in the fridge that Melissa left for us. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit again.

Beautiful Farm Stay!

We loved our time here. We brought our dogs and they had such a good time. The room is in its own fenced in area. There's a fire pit and an outdoor table. Our host provided us with everything we could need to enjoy our stay. We spent our days diving at Blue Grotto and Devil's Den, the cottage was the perfect spot to relax afterwards. Our host even left us farm fresh eggs. We will definitely visit again!

Loved it!

The property is beautiful, very well maintained and quiet. The tiny house is super comfortable and clean, and the fresh eggs were a huge bonus!I loved the outdoor shower and the fire pit.Having the area completely fenced in was wonderful for my pets as they were able to be off leash and explore.I will definitely be back!!

It was VERY pet friendly which I enjoyed with a 4-month-old puppy the cows and chickens were amazing it did rain most of the time an awing over the property so we could sit outside would have been Amazing but it was perfect for us I may see if she has it available for summer and bring our camper if we could Thank you Melissa

Peace and Quiet Oak Oasis

The property is lovely! The shed converted to a tiny house is situated under oak trees between a sheep pasture and a cow pasture, and has a chicken coop near the tiny house. The area is totally fenced off so its safe to bring your dogs and ket them run. We loved our stay!

Brenda’s Florida parks trip

This was such a lovely setting, surrounded by pastures and farm animals on the other side of the fence from the pasture area I was in. The outside shower was well-built and I felt that I was in the middle of nature. The host family was gracious and had fresh eggs laid by their chickens in the refrigerator waiting for me to enjoy. There was a charcoal grill and patio table and chairs outside under the oaks and reading my books outside on that patio was just the right way to spend a hot afternoon. Overall one of my more enjoyable stays

Quite and peaceful fun getaway

We had fun showering in the outside shower. We enjoyed cooking dinner on the grill. And loved the peaceful bon fire at night. We can't wait to get another getaway here again.

Good location and amazing yard

Great little house that is exactly as listed. Brought my dogs here and the yard is incredible, lots of space for them to roam with cows and sheep in the adjoining pasture for them to look at. The outdoor shower has hot water that feels so good after spending a day in the springs. Would stay here again

Peaceful serenity

We were greeted at the entrance by the owner who showed us around, very welcoming, easily reached if we had questions. Nicely set up and we loved the outdoor shower! The fresh eggs were great! As for us we are 67 & 71 y/o couple who enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping…no crowds.

Country Getaway

Beautiful days at Melissa’s country retreat. Small but everything you might need for a short visit. Very friendly owner waited for us by the entrance since we arrived after dark. We brought two pups and everyone was comfortable. Just be prepared for a simple life without a stove. We brought our toaster oven along as well as a slow cooker. Worked beautifully. Loved the shower outside under the giant oak tree. We will be back, thank you Melissa, thoroughly enjoyed the property. Thank you for the wonderful eggs. My Best , Marlene , will be back:))

Beautiful oak trees!

This is the second time staying here! Great place to bring your dog with the fenced area. It feels like you are on your own little farm with the animals surrounding you. Very quiet and private.

Exactly what I needed and the pups loved it too!

This trip was exactly what I needed! Some peace and quiet! The dogs loved all of the room to run and explore. Especially the cows and sheep that visited the fence line at least once a day. The view is big beautiful trees and a pond with cows and sheep grazing in the distance. Super quiet chickens and the fresh eggs were an excellent addition! Oh and the shower was glorious! Melissa was great and I can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful

The property was the perfect place to stay if you want a small and secluded get away. The surroundings were beautiful especially being able to watch all the farm animals. The hosts were great and very helpful. It was only a twenty minute drive to Dunnellon and a thirty minute drive to Ocala which is perfect if you don’t mind driving.

A Pure Delight

I wanted to go someplace where I could sit, read a book, have a glass of wine, go somewhere or not and provide my dog with wide open spaces so she could run and remain safe. I wasn't sure exactly what that would look like until I saw this. It was perfect. It is exactly as it looks and Melissa and her husband are wonderful hosts. The kind of people you would like to have as friends. We spent a wonderful, relaxing time. Ellie, my dog, met all of the animals while running through the huge fenced area. Prior to this visit she never knew that there were animals who weren't dogs. She particularly loved the chickens. Maybe because they couldn't run away from her. The outdoor shower is very luxurious. I would love to have one in my back yard. We did go to Williston one day to eat at the Ivy House Restaurant and another day to the Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens. Both were well worth the trip. Peaceful serenity!

Wonderful property! I would argue the pics don’t even do it justice :) The cottage was adorable, and just what I was hoping for to get away from the city for a peaceful weekend with my husband for his birthday. Loved waking up to such a gorgeous view, and being greeted by all of the adorable animals on-site. Really enjoyed exploring Devil’s Den and the local attractions. Melissa and Gian were as nice as can be, and gave us a great rundown of the property when we arrived. The cottage and surrounding area had all of the amenities we needed for a perfect stay! We really enjoyed everything!!

Amazing outdoor shower

Perfect farm stay. Only neighbors are sheep and cows. Fenced in yard for fur babies with its own chicken coup. Beautiful and very quiet chickens. Don't miss the outdoor shower which is to die for. Very comfortable bed and everything you need for your stay. Looking forward to returning. The quietness and privacy is anazing. Can't thank the hosts enough.

Peaceful Oaks

I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay here. Resting under the majestic Live Oak trees and watching the cows and sheep graze around the pond. Fresh eggs from the chickens in the yard, can't beat that! The hosts are very friendly and helpful willing to answer any questions you have. If I ever have an occasion to go back I will definitly look them up again! Close to Williston for anything you may need. Close to lots of springs for recreation.
