Actually didn't stay in the unit. Tried to reach host but no answer or response. Unit was not ready for anyone to stay in it. There were other patrons for the other unit that went somewhere else as well. Worst experience ever!

I have rented this place several times and its always a great experience. The apartment is gorgeous and the location is perfect if you're exploring Mt Dora or one of the festivals. I've already booked it for next year!

VRBO & owner don't communicate

VRBO &owner don't communicate, she did not know about booking and was moving party from across to our unit, the another party tried to enter late in the evening, they had code and claimed to hey had the booked room!!? room!!

Great location

Don't get me wrong, this apt is great and very comfortable. However, I've never stayed with VRBO before to where I couldn't contact the property manager directly once checked in. Any contact or questions had to be handled through VRBO. Not a problem if you have the wifi access code to use for your computer. We checked in to NO information other than what to do/not do in the apt. Normally there is always written info for the guest re the TV, wifi, A/C, etc. There is an i/c/o emergency # which we had to call to get info which turned out to be the company that owns the apt. That young lady was very helpful but she is not the property mgr. Also no info on closest grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Yes, you can look this up on Google but you shouldn't have to. It's just common courtesy. Picture of walkway to apt is misleading as are some of the pics of surroundings. Very little greenery (even fake), dirty path, garbage cans behind far wall where there is a small table for sitting out. The unique shop under the apt was closed down. I was told another store was going in soon. Obviously website is not maintained on a current basis. Stairs are steep, elders might have a problem. Stairs are also painted grey and poorly lighted. There was also no "welcome" coffee packet or even a Keurig set up. Very unusual for a VRBO property. Just saying all this so other renters will know what they might run into. The location is perfect for shops, restaurants, etc.

Christmas get away

Beautiful, 2nd time at this place hopefully it will be a yearly trip and become part of Christmas tradition for us. It’s so peaceful to sit on the balcony and see all the sights and listen to the singing Christmas tree.The suite is nicely decorated and offers plenty of comfortable seating for catching up with friends. You can cook a full meal in the kitchen if you don’t want to go out. And if you like exploring the whole town is right outside your door it’s great 👍

If your looking to relax and a quiet place dont stay

Unit is very clean master bed is hard as a rock . Drunk people and loud music till 2 am feels like your at a bad karaoke night right inside the unit. Great for shopping and eating. Bad for relaxing . Also dont pay the extra money for the cancelation policies tried that had a issue but thankfully we got that worked out because the money we paid the just incase something happens is a scam . If its drunk linda your looking for and awful rock and country music that sounds like a dieing chicken and a drunk goat and sleeping in a bed like a truck bed this is the spot. Oh and lets not forget the delivery trucks and trash trucks after 2 am till 6 am.

Perfect

This is our second stay and we've already booked our third. The apartment is gorgeous and in a perfect location...close to amazing food and quaint shops. It's very clean, comfortable and has everything that you need to feel at home. Ronnie downstairs is great...he's always there for recommendations and to lend a helping hand and his shop is pretty cool also. You can't go wrong staying here if you're staying in Mt Dora

THE PLACE WAS AMAZING ! BEAUTIFUL CAN WALK EVERYWHERE ! ITS CLEAN & VERY NICE !

IT WAS GREAT THE ONLY THING WAS THE TV REMOTES WERE DEAD ! BUT OTHER WISE IT WAS GREAT ! CLOSE TO EVERYTHING THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME ! THE APT WAS VERY CLEAN VERY EASY TO GET IN & OUT ! VERY HOMEIE & COMFORTABLE ! I WILL RE BOOK I LOVED IT ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! I LOVED THE BALCONY ! GREAT PLACE GREAT LICATION !! The Village Suites were excellent choice for us. Right in the heart of downtown Mount Dora.

My wife and I needed some alone wind downtime. We decided to stay 2 nighrs in Mt. Dora. Found The Village Suites and loved it. The condo is over "The coolest shop ever" FYI Creations! HI RONNIE! We had a blast and will be doing this again soon.

Great location; loved the balcony; spacious; comfortable; lots of natural light. Finding a space near the unit was a challenge on the weekend; however, spaces opened up by 8:30ish. The place was a bit dated and could use a bit brighter lighting for nighttime. Music from restaurant and shop below could be loud - inside the apartment. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Location and experience!

Super convenient location for walking and taking in all the delights that Mount Dora has to offer! Additionally, you will find the patio a great place to enjoy pre-cocktails before dinner or just sit and sip morning drinks while watching the people go by. We had fantastic weather, enjoyed the restaurants and sights. Parking was fine. Despite the festivals that ran on Sat and Sun, we were able to find free 24-hour parallel parking a couple of blocks away. The unit was cute and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. I would recommend having the carpets cleaned. Other than that, it smelled freshly cleaned when we checked in and it was a wonderful place to stay. We would definitely re-book again! Thank you!

Centrally located, close to every thing downtown. Very comfortable, King size bed is the most romantic and comfortable. Only item of note, you can hear noise outside easily. However, it quiets down by 10 p.m. Didn't bother us, though. We booked another stay, literally 10 minutes after walking through the door. Perfect...

The location couldn’t be any better. You are right in the heart of town, and you are just minute walks from everywhere. The condo is very spacious and well furnished. All of the furniture was extremely comfortable and in great condition. The Roku TV was a plus, but the balcony was the most relaxing place to be. We could not of asked for a better place to stay.

Shhhhhh….don’t tell!!

I am struggling to say anything good. But that’s because I want to keep it my little secret!! This place is awesome! Roomy, comfortable and without any doubt the best location in Mt. Dora, and I have tried a few. Everything you need is here, the description is spot on, so no unpleasant surprises. The host is great, and the business neighbors are too! Great Stay at Mt. Dora

This was a wonderful place to stay. Right in town, close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped, and we enjoyed 1 dinner there and 2 breakfast meals. We only stayed 2 nights, and I was sad to leave when we did. Would definitely stay there again!
