“A bit dated but very nice for the price. Not so sound proof but we did not have many neighbours so it was ok for us.”

“The room we had was a self contained villa on one floor and was huge. View was lovely and plenty of space. The resturant in the golf clubhouse was good. Its a very windy location which I guess you would expect at the top of the mountain. There are plenty of walks nearby, but nothing else, so you have to hope that it is not pouring down with rain !!”

“Vi bodde i ett eget hus bredvid hotellet där vi hade allt vi behövde och lite till. Allt var inrett i en mysig lantlig stil och trädgården var fantastisk. När vi kom hade vi även fått färska ägg från hönsen och en flaska med mjölk från korna. Synd att vi bara var där två nätter, vi hade gärna stannat längre.”

“Good location Clean and warm Overall good. Bring extra toilet paper and dishwasher powder if you are staying more than a couple of days as only 3 loo rolls and a small amount of powder is supplied and not replaced during your stay. Shackleton restaurant had excellent staff and nice food but wouldn’t go there again unless they can fix the smoke coming into the restaurant from the fire place. We felt like we had smoked a packet of cigarettes, our clothes smelled and eyes burned. Felt sorry...

“Location was about a 10min walk to the township , 1/3 rd of a toilet roll offered only for 3 ladies for 2 nights. Tried calling the number but no one picked up and no one replied to our left messages. Rubbish communication and would NOT stay again there are better options.”

“Hade hyrt en Camper van och åkte runt i Nya Zealand. Vill ta en hotellnatt för att komma undan campinglivet. 30-40 km omväg på resan mellan christchurch och södra delen av sydön. Fick inte tag på dem när vi ringde men när vi väl kom dit var de hur hjälpsamma och trevliga som helst. De tvättade t.o.m. åt oss! Stora rymliga rum, badkar och bra sängar. Perfekt”
