Beautiful spacious home, well stocked

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely lake house. We spent a great deal of time on the dock but had to clean a variety of surfaces for it to be usable for us. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen very well stocked. It was mostly peaceful during our time but we did have 2 work crews, one on each side of the house (on other properties) for about half of our stay.

Inside of house was clean, and functional for family of 6 with great lake views. While the boathouse was listed on the description, we did not learn that it was prohibited to park our personal boat at the boathouse until after we made our initial payment; we specifically asked this question prior to booking, but never got a reply. Grounds, and landscaping poorly maintained. Drive through driveway blocked by boat trailer. Air conditioning froze SouthEast side bedroom while Northwest bedroom remained hot. Ok property for cost.

Girls weekend getaway

There were 7 of us and had a great time. Helpful things to know ahead of time: 1) there is a refrigerator on the boat dock so no need to haul giant coolers with you
 this is where we spent the majority of our time 2) there are speakers on the boat dock that put out great sound and you can connect to it wirelessly to play your own music
 The dock also has fans and lighting for the evening. 3) The grill on the boat dock does not work well so you can forget about grilling on it
 it was the whole reason I rented this property. There are two small tables and seating for about 10 but if you’re looking for any chaise lounge chairs there are none. 4) The only appliance missing from the house that would’ve been very useful was a blender. All other basic necessities were there. Toaster, coffee maker, dry goods like salt pepper coffee creamer etc. etc. 5) We never figured out if there was Wi-Fi or not All in all we had a fantastic time and would absolutely do it again!

Panoramic Views of Lake Bob Sandlin!

We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to spend an entire week at this glorious property! The house is decorated beautifully and completely updated! The kitchen is so well equipped and they have a Blackstone which we loved as well as another gas grill in the boat house! We caught several fish right off the boat house (which was amazing), and the surrounding property along the lake. The views from this home were just majestic, and the weather was perfect! The beds were so comfy and the DVD collection made for awesome movie nights each evening! If you are looking for breathtaking views, and the chance to step away from it all, this lake house offers it all! We cannot wait to return! Joe and Michelle, Dallas TX

Great views, Spacious House

The family lake house was a great house for a relaxing weekend getaway with the family. The lake view from the living room was beautiful. The house was spacious and perfect for two adult couples and two children with two king beds and a bunk bed room. The house was well supplied and had everything you would need. Ample supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, hand soaps, silver wear, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, coffee pot/coffee. All you need is your food and your fishing poles. Overall the house was clean (floors, appliances, bathrooms, bedding). But we did find a few things inside that the cleaning crew missed, but nothing significant. We loved the dock. The grandkids fished all weekend and the grill was great for evening grilling. Our biggest concerns were the chairs and tables on the dock. They were very dirty and took some cleaning to be usable. We realized that a dock on the lake would be difficult to keep clean, but seemed that the chairs and tables weren't touched or cleaned for a while. One word of caution... there are quite a few steps from the deck to the ground and then a steep hill down to the dock. No problem for any of us, but if anyone has mobility issues it would be a problem. John was great at communicating before and after the visit. He was very responsive to texts, which was appreciated.

It was nice. The place needs major attention from owner. It needs cleaning and some repairs. The pictures on line I looked at does not match today’s time. But it was ok. Would not book this property again

End of summer vacation

My family and another family stayed in this lakehouse for four days and rented a boat for two days. It was a peaceful and relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle on the everyday norm. The house was clean and well furnished. I would certainly recommend; however I would not recommend for handicapped users as those stairs to the lake would get daunting.

Escaping Reality

We enjoyed our time at this property. The house it’s self is well stocked as though you live there. Everything worked properly and was comfortable. It was organized and clean making it easy to leave organized and clean when we left. The kids were excited to not have to share beds and to watch TV during down time. We spent most of our time on the dock/boathouse. Fishing was fun! The outdoor kitchen was fantastic! Made baiting hooks for five kids all-day-long not as disgusting. Our communications with the property manager was fantastic. He was very responsive through the whole process. This property made what could have been a stress filled week a breeze! Our children got to make priceless memories! Highly recommend.

Great Dock, Easy Access, Comfortable House, No Boat Parking at Dock

Our family loved the property. The house is quite comfortable but you go for the lake and the dock. The boat slip is in use so you'll need to park at the marina about a mile away. This lake is great because it does not allow boats larger than 26ft. Keeps the big wakes down. This is not the fanciest house and location but the price reflects that. Very comfortable. Good sized master and fair sized 2nd bedroom. Third bedroom is for kids but they are only there to sleep. Not a lot of storage that is not in use so just bring your items in tubs and work out of those. We will be going back. We really liked it.

Perfect Lake Vacation

Our family absolutely loves this home on the lake. Since we enjoy just spending the entire day outside, the amazing dock allows us to sit under the shade and visit, fish, swim, rest, and tube. The home is fully stocked with anything you would need for your trip. We would not stay any place else on the lake. Quiet neighborhood.

I rented this home for a mini family reunion. Mg sister and I discovered through ancestry. Com that we had a brother we didn't know about. Her came from New Zealand and my sister from the coast together with our families wer had a blast. The house and view of lake were beautiful. Would recommend to friends

Spring Break at the Lake

Great lake house, great views, well equipped. We had a great stay, wide open floor plan & boathouse made for great family time with our college kids. We grilled every night on the boat dock. House was very clean & walk to the boat house was no problem. We will be back.

Great Family Weekend Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at the lakehouse on Bob Sandlin! It was a multi-generational getaway, and we all enjoyed our time. The house is large and well-appointed. We had enough space for 4 adults and 4 children. The boathouse is very nice and offers a great place to have morning coffee or an evening drink while overlooking the water. We would love to return next year!
