Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob Overlook which had incredible views! The bed was comfortable as well! There are some outdoor areas to sit which I enjoyed in the morning while drinking my coffee but the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious gourmet breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Fresh fruit was on the table to enjoy and it started with a caramelized baked apple with nuts and raisins and then a mango coconut strudel and both were so delicious! Tom then brought out the main dish which was over the top! I am not remembering the name of the egg dish since it was unique and gourmet with spinach, chèvre and was topped with cheddar and a balsamic glaze. It was served with fresh local bacon and rosemary roasted potatoes. We savored every bite! We would definitely come back!

The hosts, Maureen and Tom, were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The B&B itself is a beautiful, cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. We quite randomly stumbled on Tom & Maureen’s B&B whilst transiting between Niagara Falls and NYC - and well did we get lucky here. The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Oh yes, and the 3 beautiful rescue dogs that came to say hello and make us welcome too! I can’t recommend this place and the hosts highly enough!

Tom and Maureen are salt of the earth. The most gracious hosts that treat you like family. Clean and cozy quarters with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts were prepared to perfection. Between Tom’s cooking skills and Maureen’s baking, you are in for a treat. Their “co-host” dogs are all well behaved and very gentle. Highly recommended this B&B. Thank you Tom and Maureen- we’ll be back!

We were greeted warmly by the owner. He offered information about the area, catered to our interests. We enjoyed a glass of wine over an outdoor firepit, and then returned inside to another indoor fire on a cool fall evening. They showed us around our room and told us about the area. Offered restaurant and attractions in the area. We will 💯 return if the occasion presents itself.

My husband and I loved the tastefully appointed home, the exceptional breakfasts and attention of our hosts. This bed and breakfast anticipated everything a guest could possibly desire for breakfast and had it available. Tom and Maureen's cooking and recommendations for restaurants to visit were spot on. And the bed! It was so very comfortable. Another bonus was meeting other guests during breakfast. They were all gracious folks. We hope to return.

We stayed with Maureen and Tom for two nights last week to do some hiking in the area.  Their B&B is very comfortable. Maureen and Tom are both helpful and gracious hosts. They are both EXCELLENT cooks!   Their breakfast was off the charts!! Their dogs are well behaved and friendly.  Absolutely no issues with having them around.  We enjoyed petting them and getting to know them. We'll be back! Thank you Maureen & Tom.

There was nothing unique in this property. This is not what I signed up for. I really thought I was getting a room in a hotel with breakfast. It’s a private house renting rooms. There was dead rats in the courtyard next to the stairway. Dogs barking on the premises in the night. I booked for a Queen sized bed but that was more like a full size bed. The owner told me that the room which I booked was under renovation and he put us in an alternative room. I stayed the night and left early next morning. I told him I didn’t like the accommodation and that’s not what I booked for. I requesting my money for 2 nights back.

We have been named the best Bed & Breakfast in the Poconos. We will stand on that and the hundreds of 5-star reviews we have earned.Mr. Singh's review is unfortunately false. To begin with, he told me that there was no problem with the accommodations, it's just that his wife was expecting a hotel. In fact, just moments before this review appeared he texted me that there "is not a problem."He booked our smallest room with a bathroom in the hallway. Because we were painting the room next to it, for his comfort we upgraded him to our biggest and best room.I have never even seen a rat here in Mount Pocono, much less dead ones (and we do not even have a courtyard). As he was told, four times before he arrived, we do have dogs on the property. But as our reviews show, they are well-behaved and do not bark all night.Mr. Singh is embarrassed and upset because he booked a Bed & Breakfast when his wife wanted a hotel. Instead of taking responsibility for his mistake, he has decided to try to hurt our business. That is more a sad commentary on him than this review is a reflection of us.

Fantastic experience
It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we were not disappointed and definitely plan to do it again after this fantastic experience! Our hosts were very friendly and personable and so were their dogs! Overall it was a great weekend getaway for a couple!

lol let stay with the best scones we’ve ever had!
Had a lovely stay at Maurrocks B&B. The hosts have thought of everything we could have needed for our stay, and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, with homemade scones and other pastries, a variety of delicious coffees and teas, and a well stocked fridge for consumption. The candy dishes all over the house were a tempting indulgence, and they were honestly the best scones we have ever had! My only negative reviews are that the snow was not cleared fully on the front, walk and steps, making it difficult to navigate with suitcases. Also, the bed in our room was not attached to the rickety headboard, and it did not seem sturdy at all. Other than that, the hosts were very lovely, and we enjoyed meeting their dogs!

Tom and Maureen are absolutely wonderful people! They welcome you into their home, and make you feel like family.
