Prospective renters beware of false advertising:Kitchen not stocked for large groups - lacking silverware, pots, pans, serving dishes. Dull knives, broken kuerig & toaster. One dish towel.Linens: Not one hand towel in any of the bathrooms. One towel per person for showering; 8 wash cloths for our 17 guests; no extra blankets.Sofa in game room completely sunken in and unusable. Creaky bunk beds kept us awake. Some mattresses are lumpy, others dip in the middle. We chose this place for the hot tub after skiing. When we arrived Friday night I informed the owner that the temp was 76 degrees. She said we had to wait for it to heat up. Saturday morning it was 85 degrees so she sent a service guy out. He informed us that this was an ongoing problem and that he had already told her she needed a new heat pump. She denied this and sent another service guy, who said the same as the first. Instead of having him install a new heat pump, she had him rig the hot tub with a “bypass”, which didn’t work. By Saturday night the temp was 88. Not until Sunday morning (checkout at 11am) was the temp at 96 degrees, which the owner said made it “operational”, as if we should be satisfied with that (100 degrees is standard), and offered a later checkout time so we could “enjoy more time in the tub”, which we did not want. I asked for 20% off our stay instead. She lamented that she had spent 200 on the service calls for the hot tub. In the end she forked over 100 and took no accountability.
