Hotell nära Mount Rushmore National Memorial

“Ett enkelt hotell men vi sov bra! Det fanns AC och det behövs när det är 27 grader varmt på natten. Personalen i lobbyn var fantastiskt trevliga. När vi fick ett rum med stopp i toan tog det mindre än 20 minuter innan den trevliga kvällsportiern hade försökt fixa stoppet och sedan gett oss ett bytesrum. Frukosten är väldigt enkel och det händer att det är trångt och städat i frukostrummet. Men reser du på budget och vill sova bra mellan utflykterna i den underbara omgivningen så rekommenderar...

“Ett trevligt hotell som ligger en kortare promenad ifrån centrum. Ligger perfekt till för besök i Custer skatepark och Mount Rushmore.”

“Klassiskt amerikanskt hotell. Bra läge för utflykter i Black Hills. Bra med kaffe i receptionen. Bra bufe resturang tvärs över gatan.”

“Shower head fell off. Huge air leak around door. Breakfast was very limited. Cheap”

“Great place to stay. Everyone I ran into that worked there was nice. The lobby was decorated beautifully. New hotel being opened this spring (2025). Would recommend and go back”

“Common area a little dirty but hot tub was wonderful. Nice play to stay and friendly staff. ”

“Pool time was fun and you could see that they were working to upgrade the facility. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.”

“Frukosten var en katastrof. Det fanns inget kaffe och bara sylt att lägga på smörgåsen. Den stackars tjejen i receptionen klarade inte att fylla på kaffe (vi var först vid frukost så det borde funnits. Ingen annan personal fanns där så vi fick vara utan kaffe och pålägg på smörgåsarna. Sämsta hotellfrukosten nånsin och då har vi rest väldigt mycket. Där bor jag aldrig mera”

“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“Breakfast selections were nice and plentiful. Dining area was clean and spacious. This property is close to the hospital, the biggest reason I wanted to stay there. But I was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again ”
