“A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied.”

“Helt underbart Bed & Breakfast! Det är så avslappnande, från att sitta på verandan med morgonkaffet och njuta av fåglarna och kaninerna, den härliga saltvattenspoolen och till brasan som man kan sitta och njuta av på kvällen. Ägarna Deb och Mike är så vänliga och hjälpsamma, de kan ge en massa tips på saker att göra. Mycket god frukost, som var annorlunda varje morgon. Vi stortrivdes och skulle mer än gärna komma tillbaka!”

“This house is really nice and a perfect spot for 2 adult couples. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the cabin, a beautiful overlook balcony of the river, and huge windows everywhere to take in the scenery. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with via text and gave helpful instructions to find the place. It is far off the main road so I suggest traveling in an SUV or a car well off of the ground. My only star taken was for the accuracy of the listing as it says...

“Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand....

Very much enjoyed the location and during the daytime we explored the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. The Appalachian Trail is a quarter of a mile away with a car park for a day hike. Thanks!”
