âDifficult to find, but once you do find it you'll be pleasantly surprised. Staff are nice and helpful, there's a nice garden-type atmosphere in the common area, and the room was clean and spotless. Breakfast was quite delicious, with a general mix of an omlette, crepes, fruit and/or vegetables; it does change if you stay more than a day. A nice place to stay if you can work remote. No TVs in the rooms for those who care.â
âOriginally the building served as a residence for the last Swahili king and you can feel the atmosphere in this extraordinary hotel, perfectly located in the middle of Stone Town. Rooms are like suites and uniquely designed. Staff are very service minded and the restaurant on the roof top serves a unique and very well tasting fixed menu every night in an open air space. Both rates and price for 5 course dinner (40 USD) is very competitive in relation to what you get.â
âHi, this is a good place for the cost, is staff who try their best and they are helpfull, but they lacked a bit knowledge for my questions, could be lack of training. i would stay there again for hort time, if i needed in that area. very noce garden and goos breakfast with fresh fruits and such. treating each gues individual of what was wished for breakfast.â

"Staff was friendly, the food was okay, besides the ceasar salad that was sub par.
Hotel shop had expired products (should really review the stock) bought a pepsi that was expired 6 months ago. The pool area was nice, but the water in the pool felt dirty, even though just being cleaned. Would also be transparant to mention that the hotel is just NeXT to a mosque, that kept us awake all night due to non stop activity. "
