Perfect spot
We loved our stay. Everything we needed seemed to be right around the corner. Easy pickups by taxi. We never had a problem getting around. It’s also one of the cleanest places we’ve ever rented!!!

Beautifully done and great location
You can tell that every detail was considered for Tanja’s home - from the beautiful decor to the fluffy towels. We were super comfortable and actually liked having the bedrooms downstairs, felt cozy. Also, having easy access to a washer and dryer was great. The location is a 10 or so minute walk to the metro and about 3 stops from there to Marienplatz. Once we figured out the metro, we went from market to market - super easy. As a bonus, there is a bakery steps from the home. Highly recommend this retreat in central Munich!

Beautiful in Munich
A spotless very stylish rental property in a classic middle class Munich neighborhood. Surrounded by cafe's and small retail stores.....including an amazing bakery across the street and one of the best sushi places I've ever eaten at 20 yards away (!!!!). This is key.......the location comes with an available parking spot and a parking permit. Anyone familiar with renting a car while staying in a European city center knows how really useful those are. Easy access to major freeway on ramps as well.

Perfect!
The apartment was so modern, clean and well appointed. The check in was fantastic with Tommy so friendly and helpful. The location…worked great for us with 2 bus stops, a grocery store, a bakery with great cappuccino and baked goods, and many restaurants so close by. We really lucked out with this stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Como Apartment
Traveled to Munich and had a wonderful four night stay at the Como apartment. We met Tanja, our wonderful host, at check in. She gave a us a quick tour of the apartment and answered any questions we had. Parking was included which made check in and check out a breeze. The space is bright, open and peaceful. Plenty of space for three adults and three teens. The unit has every possible amenity for a comfortable stay. The decor is beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. We enjoyed taking a break from our long walks and sightseeing by enjoying a glass of wine on the private patio. Convenient location - lots of restaurants, cafes and bakeries in the area. Grocery store a short walk. Highly recommend this apartment and would love to return soon!

Incredible stay in Munich!
Our family had the most wonderful time during our four days in Munich. The home was beautiful and perfectly located in a neighborhood near the river, with walking & bike paths, as well as a bakery, several cafés, and a Greek restaurant where we enjoyed the most lovely meal outside at sunset one night. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

Great location, exactly as listed
Very modern with great access to transportation. We didn’t prefer the beds being downstairs, but this is very clear in the listing. Coffee pods and laundry detergent included, very nice. The patio is a great bonus.

Great neighborhood, great apartment
The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners came around and planted an outdoor garden while we were there; very pleasant and friendly people. We particularly liked the fact that there were great restaurants just down the street. The Greek place across the street was great, the coffee shop right outside our door had fabulous pastries, the tapas place down the road had sone of the best Asian tapas we had anywhere. Not to mention the great German beer. There were two bus stops within a block or two of the house. Altogether a great location. And Munich is terrific!

Quiet flat with a very cool Vibe
We were met immediately, by friendly host who quickly showed us everything we needed to know. There are 2 basement bedrooms which are very quiet, perfect for sleeping. The 2 full bathrooms are fresh, bright and modern. The kitchen is great with a large grocery store about 10 minutes walk. Laundry washer and drier were super. There are several nearby establishments, recommended by our host - cafes, bars, and restaurants. 25 minute walk to main train station and 30 minute walk to the main historic district. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful apartment in excellent location.
Check-in was seamless. Apartment very well appointed. Bakery is literally across the street and supermarket just a few blocks away. Parking pass for free parking in neighborhood provided, so if you have a car, you will be well served (we did not find any issue with finding a spot nearby on the street nearby). Access to downtown center easy via public transport (bus). We very much enjoyed this property and would recommend it.

Very nice property
We enjoyed our stay. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with several restaurants and cafes close by. It’s very close to buses that can quickly and easily take you anywhere in the city. Management was very thorough with checkin and very responsive. Well organized.

Perfect Vacation Home!
Not only was the property huge, clean, and in a great location but Tommy was super helpful during our stay. He met up with us to give us the keys and showed us where everything was in the home. We were traveling with our 2 year old and they thoughtfully prepared a travel crib with stuffed animals for her. Coming from overseas it was the perfect way to feel Welcome immediately upon arrival. The playground just down the street was across from a gelato shop, there was a great cafe right out front, and easy access to two bus lines. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

So much space!
We have five kids and having enough space is always an issue. This house had a ton of room, more than enough for all of us. Four of the kids all slept together in one room and the other had his special place by the tv in the living room. Spacious dining area, fun cafe table outside, plenty of coffee, two bathrooms!, laundry room, nearby cafes, resaurant, grocery stores, parks, running path along the river, bus stops- this place has it all. Tanja and her team make life easy!

Fantastic place to stay in family-friendly neighborhood
We stayed for 6 nights and loved it. This was one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced (and we've stayed in a lot of rentals in many countries). It has so many positive features: street level access; stand-alone unit with no shared walls or people living above or below; outdoor patio; privacy; spacious; quiet and cool bedrooms; modern and tasteful furnishings; fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of useful amenities. We also loved the neighborhood, with plenty of cafes, bakery, restaurants, playground, grocery store, access to public transport, etc. We would definitely return to this wonderful place in Munich.

Very cozy
Tanja was great and very helpful. The place is very clean and cozy. It’s a quaint little building surrounded by apartment buildings in a quiet residential neighborhood. With quite a few bats and restaurants around. My only complaint is that the bedroom’s are side by side and one doesn’t have a door. Had to be very quiet in the morning until everyone was up.

Dear guests, We never noticed bats in the area, but if you saw some we will keep an eye on it during our next check-in at night time ;-)). Our apartment is as described based on an open loft floor plan and we want to stick to it in order to feel the space and high floor levels. If we decide to close all spaces with doors we destroy this idea. We think most guests also love this idea.

Perfect location!
The beautiful home was exactly what my group needed! Nestled in a quiet, cultural rich neighborhood, we enjoyed fresh bakery and cappuccino every morning before we hopped on the bus for shopping abs site-seeing. Also centered in this neighborhood are wonderful restaurants, a pharmacy, grocery shopping and so much more! Evening strolls we’re wonderful as we could walk along the River and enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful city! This is house is a gem!!

Ideale Familienunterkunft
Das Objekt ist für eine Familie ideal. Für Leute, die sich weniger gut kennen, ist die Bauweise zu offen. Eigentlich handelt es sich nicht um zwei Schlafzimmer, sondern um einen Raum, der durch Vorhänge und eine dünne Wand getrennt ist. Lärmschutz existiert nicht. Dann fehlen natürlich die Fenster im Untergeschoss.

Fantastic retreat!
Our family enjoyed our stay! Perfect location to explore the city and always could find a place to enjoy! Check was a bit quick - and a little more explanation of the location, etc., could have helped - but we were able to manage and find things as we needed. The owner was accommodating with letting us drop our luggage early so that we could hit the city without lugging bags around and we greatly appreciated that. All communication was quick and responsive. We will definitely be returning to Munich!

This apartment is very clean and nicely furnished. There are several good restaurants just a few steps away, a grocery store about a 5 minute walk. In addition at each end of the street there are bus lines to take you anywhere you want to go. Would definitely stay here again!

Tucked & Tiny
While an interesting attempt at design, this shed/garage re-do was uncomfortable and poorly located. The couch was a small & squishy futon. There was no microwave (?!) and Most frustrating no hot water! It was fixed after complaints but should have been checked before arrival. There was a strange bedroom set-up with Main one closed by gauzy curtains and a strange see-through too window into the second one. The neighborhood was pleasant, with a small park & several cafes near-by, but was quite a distance from City Center, requiring bus & metro transfers. There was a very small courtyard my wife enjoyed, but it was hemmed in by taller buildings- located behind a coffee shop, we arose early with them when they opened through the rear door outside our windows. Given its location, I doubt we’d return.

Just as note for following guests: Our courtyard house is our largest with 132 sqm on 2 levels, which we consider not as tiny. The house is staying away from the street, which all of our guests love, since it is very quiet and you have a private terrace and of course there are buildings around, we are not in the countryside. We are right into city center (very lovely neighbourhood) of a 1.5 million people city. All of our guests love the great Cafe Zimt in our front door building, which offers great breakfast, lunch and dinner just at the door step, but far enough away in the front, not to hear any noises. There are 2 bus lines direct into city center Marienplatz, inner 10 minutes you are there. There is no need to change to the metro. By accident the whole house had no hot water that evening, which was repaired right after it was noticed. More quicker it couldn't be done elsewhere in the world.

Overall a good stay
The property, location, amenities and checkin process were all very good, as advertised. It was very clean and spacious for our family of four. The parking was a little confusing and hard to come by at first, but was made easier by the map and documentation provided by Tanja. One issue we encountered was that we ran out of hot water the first two nights we were there and ended up heating water on the stove to take baths (note that the hot water worked fine during the day). While it was an inconvenience and the root cause was never determined, Tanja was responsive to addressing the issue. Aside from this, it was a very good experience.

Excellent location and nice apartment
My family spent a week in Tanja‘s Apartment before Christmas. It is well appointed and nicely decorated. Here is a list of some of the amenities in the Kitchen and upstairs living area. There is a toaster, nestle capsul coffeemaker, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, plenty of dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots and bowles. No spices or baking products were left from prior residents. No salt/pepper etc. Tanja very nicely left an assortment of capsules for the coffee maker (thankyou very much) In the upstairs living area there is a TV, DVD player, Bose radio and wireless wifi, a couch/Futon (not comfortable The bedrooms are below the ground level entry. The lower living and bedroom area are in a basement that has been very tastefully converted into two bedrooms, a small living area, a bathroom and a washer and electric dryer. The master bedroom has curtains separating it from a small living area and a queen/king size bed (not sure about sizing). There is also a single bed / couch right outside the master bedroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and a sliding door to separate it from the master bedroom/ living area. The upstairs living area is on the ground floor. You go down a spiral staircase to get to the bedrooms, a second bathroom and a second small living area. The spiral staircase is a nice design but steep and might be a little difficult to navigate if you have walking issues. I regularly had to remind my kids to be careful with stocking feet. No one fell down more than a few stairs at a time so we were very happy. There is a child fence that can be put in front of the stairs at the ground level entrance to keep small kids from attempting to go down on their own. The downstairs living area and bedrooms are below ground level but very nicely decorated so you never notice that you are below ground. However since you have no exit from the bedrooms except by way of the spiral stairway there is an emergency exit so you are not trapped if there is a fire or other mishap at the ground level. During our stay the emergency exit was locked so it could not be used. Summary: Everything regarding the Apartment and location are nice. Three considerations for renters 1) street parking in late afternoon can be difficult to find so be prepared for a short walk. 2) The spiral staircase is steep and might be difficult for someone with walking issues. 3) The emergency exit should not be locked.

Everything was great! The location is perfect.
The apartment is very close to transportation , restaurants, and grocery store. Bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need. The access to the bedrooms by a narrow spiral staircase, so if stairs are a issue this would be something to consider. We had no issues. We were met by Tanja’s husband and given a quick tour. There is a information card and travel books and maps, We would highly recommend Tanja’s apartment.

Charming and stylish apartment in a wonderful neighbourhood close to city centre!
We had an amazing experience with our stay here. The decorating is beautiful. The place was clean, neat, and well appointed (they even have multiple guidebooks, and even an outlet adapter if you are from outside Europe!). The only slight issue was that the wifi did not work while we were there. However, Tanja was very responsive in attempting to help resolve the issue. I'd return to stay here any day!!!

Nice place for small family
We had a nice stay. There is very little privacy and no windows in the bedrooms downstairs but it’s a nice little place. Close to a couple of good restaurants, close to the bus that can get you to Marienplatz easily. Private front yard with locking gate so kids can play out front.

Light-filled, quiet, very pleasant apartment
My wife, 3 college-age daughters and I stayed in this apartment during Christmas week. The apartment is off a private courtyard and is very quiet. Despite being in a courtyard, it's amazingly light and cheerful. The apartment was well-furnished. It sleeps 5-6 comfortably, with two spacious bathrooms. The apartment is about 2 km from the center of Munich. There are several transit options, but we chose to walk there on the 3-4 occasions we went into town. There are lots of interesting places less than 30 minutes' walk. Our host Tanja gave us some great restaurant recommendations and was very welcoming.

Amazing GEM in the heart of Munich
We were 5 girls from Florida/NY and we could not have been more pleased with the apartment. Not only is Tanja a responsive, available and kind host, but the apartment is impeccably decorated! All our friends back home were jealous of our find! The wifi worked great, apartment has abundant supply of electrical outlets that all 5 of us could plug in all our stuff all the time! The bathroom tiles are heated, YES heated so if you are cold, don't worry. The cafe and restaurant close by was great. Oh, and we found the bus stop that took us right to the front of Oktoberfest tents, after about 3 or so stops. Yes, you can walk there but us girls with sexy shoes chose not to :-). All in all I would highly recommend this apartment AND if we were ever heading back to Munich I would chose to stay there. Danke Tanj!!

Great apartment and Location
We stayed at the apartment a few weeks ago and loved it. The location was great; a short walk to a grocery store, a shorter walk to public transportation, and an even shorter walk to a café and bakery. The apartment is off the street in the midst of other taller apartment buildings, but there was ample natural light and little street noise at night. Only bad thing I can say is that the Wi-Fi was weak and a little problematic.

Relaxing Munich Location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay in the apartment, and found it the perfect place to come "home" to after touring the city each day. The surrounding neighborhood offers great restaurant options, and the grocery store is a short walk away if you choose to dine in. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessities you need. It was completely clean upon our arrival. There is also a small patio/courtyard seating area we enjoyed at the end of a long day. Communication with Tanja was excellent. We highly recommend this rental!

Decent, but not sure if worth the $$$.
Positives: 1. Great location with convenient grocery store, cafes, and tram 71 to city center. 2. Spacious 3.Everything worked including coffee maker, dryer. 4. Host was fantastic and readily available. Areas of improvement: 1. Sofas not comfortable and could use additional seating living area. 2. Extremely poor to no lighting at night going through gate and trying to open main door without using iPhone light. My wife fell and scraped her knee. 3. Need additional quieter fans since there is no AC and Europe getting Warner than historical temperatures. 4. Downstairs shower has some issues related to leakage.

Many thanks for your review. We are sorry your wife scraped her knee, as we formerly wrote you that house management has replaced the broken light bulbs. We provide in every bedroom one fan, since the bedrooms are in souterrain the bedrooms are usually cool also during very hot summer days. And we have really barely continuously hot days. After your stay housekeeping reported a leakage problem with the shower, we cannot understand why you didn´t report it to us immediately, while you were aware of it and staying in the apartment for some days. The result of using the shower constantly is a huge leakage damage we have to solve now. We really expect guests also to feel responsible once they use our facilities and report immediately should there appear any problems. To complain later is not very supportive and helpful.

Great location, wonderful apartment!
Our stay at Damai apartment was great. The location was wonderful with a bakery, cafe, and restaurants within a block. It was impeccably clean with all the amenities we needed. The apartment was comfortable for 4 people - the only draw back was not having a lot of "sitting" areas. Had it been raining and we couldn't use the patio, there wasn't a great place in the apartment to sit and relax. One caution was the spiral staircase down to the bedrooms - if you have trouble going up and down that might be tricky. It worked well for us with no problems. I would definitely recommend this property!

My wife and I loved our stay in Munich at this property. The location is perfect, such a quiet neighborhood, but very local, very beautiful, and close to everything. One note of caution or consideration- we were alone. If we had kids or another couple with us, the bedroom situation would not have been as acceptable. It's a very open home and would be hard to find intimacy or quiet if having to share the space.

well maintained house in nice living district within Munich
The house was everything which we had expected. Very nice place. Great location! Spent some quality time with the owner, Tonja, during our check-in process. One can tell that Tonja takes great pride in her property. She was also able & willing to assist us with the public transportation system. Tonja never appeared rushed and attentive to our needs and questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The neighborhood was lovely with many restaurants, but we especially loved breakfast at the little bakery right in front of the apartment. We highly recommend this rental as a great "home base" when visiting Munich!
