âFinding the entrence to the hotel was not an easy task even though we took a taxi!
The city has all it's traffic running 'underneath' the city itself and the hotel can be a bit hard to locate.
Once checked-in our stay was great!

âWe have stayed at this hotel several times in the past but were very disappointed with our latest visit. There was nobody at reception therefore we had no idea where to get keys etc. We eventually phoned someone and was told our room number and the key is in the door! Only one towel and no one to ask for another until we were leaving. The shower head had not been cleaned for ages and therefore water spraying from all angles. TV turned on during the night a couple of times and woke us up! ...

Hotellet ligger alldeles brevid jĂ€rnvĂ€gen och stationen. Restaurangen Ă€r öppen kvĂ€llar. Reception finns inte och inte heller frukost. âThe atmosphere at B&B Hippo-Droom was really a classic "home-a-way-from-home", which made our last days in Belgium a perfect finish after three years in Waterloo/Belgium.
We can recommend B&B Hippo-Droom as the first or last "home" if you are moving to or from Belgium, or if you are just visiting Belgium for anyother reason and need a place to call home for some nights.
The closeness to R0 (motorway) makes Hippo-Droom very accesible.â
