A dreamy villa surrounded by vineyardsâpeaceful, private, and so romantic. Sunset by the pool with a glass of wine was unforgettable. The wine tasting was a perfect experience with delicious wines from the property. Outstanding staff, beautiful grounds and a perfect escape for couples. âA fantastic lovely place to stay close by Montalcino. Tranquil, stunning view and very cozy atmosphere and rooms. Capanna wines are wonderful and the only downside was that the fine dining restaurant which we visited before and looked forward to enjoying again was closed the two days we spent there. However Montalcino is a beautiful little place with many good restaurants and cozy atmosphere so thereâs always other options. Will definitely come back!â

âWe had a great stay here, the location is just perfect, surrounded by tuscan hills and you shouldnt miss the sunsets, they are exceptional. The hotel is perfect in every aspect, the room, breakfast area and the location. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant close to the hotel (Michele helped us with the reservation). So I still havent mentioned the best and that was the service and hospitality of our hosts, Michele and Sara. Warm and welcoming and Sara made the best breakfast that we have...

âThe staff was outstanding and the meals were amazing, i.e., fresh, wholesome, and homemade. The chefâs team was very creative with the dinner menu which featured a stellar selection fish, pasta and vegetables grown on the premises. Room was impeccable. Highly recommend a stay at Mastrojanni.â

"It's difficult to navigate the narrow streets of Montalcino with a car, but the village is well worth it. The hotel is small and the staff very friendly. The view over the landscape from our room (towards the north-east) was breathtaking. No dinner, but a very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee.
The village is good for a few walks, but perhaps even better as a base for excursions; we took a day in Siena. Restaurants are better value than in the larger cities."
