âThis hotel was beautiful and so unique. They handed us a huge, antique-looking key which opened an old wood door into a beautiful stone room that felt like we were in a cave or a castle. We were greeted by a sweet note for our honeymoon. The breakfast was delicious and made to order, and you eat on the terrace overlooking the city. âJuan was amazing at this hotel. We arrived very early in the morning so our room was not ready. He got us situated with some coffee and snacks and gave us an intro as to what to see and where to eat in Arequipa. Very attentive and friendly. â

âI stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The property is a former mansion that once belonged to a Peruvian president who served from 1899 to 1903. He purchased it during that time and lived here after his term ended. Staying here feels like being part of history, and the rooms are beautifully designed with high ceilings. âMost amazing stay at any hotel that weâve been to. Have to ring their bell and wait for their staff to let us in. Totally enclosed property and only guests can dine there.
Rooms were comfortable, very quiet, can get coffee or food delivered to your room (no charge all inclusive), breakfast and dinner selections were plentiful, all delicious food.
We canât rave enough about the staff. They make you feel like youâre part of their family.
We stayed 6 nights and could have stayed longer. â
