“All staff were amazing from our check in to bar service to dinner service. I had a massage which I would highly rate. Otavio and Bruno really stood out for us and went the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room and lots of lovely hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there again. ”

“Wir hatten eine super schöne und erholsame Zeit im TheVagar. Wir haben neben einem sehr guten Frühstück, welches man sich am Tag zu vor immer neu zusammenstellt, auch das Abendessen sehr genossen. Wer einfach ein paar Tage abschalten will ist hier genau richtig. Hottub, Pool, Lagerfeuer am Abend, Massage alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben sogar noch spontan verlängert und eines der Shelters gebucht, die ebenfalls auf dem Gelände sind. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.”

“Hotel outside of Covilhã, half way up the mountain. Idyllic location and great view. Our room was not well cleaned, especially the bath room was not. Neither was the cutlery and porcelain at the breakfast clean. Staff at reception could not answer our questions about mountain trails. In general, the staff at the reception could be more service-minded. The employees at the bar were the best part of this hotel experience, very sympathic.”

“Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread!
