Endast lĂ€mpligt att vĂ€lja detta motel om man Ă€r pĂ„ resa efter motorvĂ€gen och snabbt vill stanna till och sova pĂ„ ett enkelt motell.â
âReally nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.â
âSuch a fun way to stay. It was perfect. We even got ready for a wedding in the cabin and had plenty of space. Our dog loved it! They had dog bowls and a lead at the cabin. â
âAs always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. â
âNice hotel with great location by the sea. We have older children and even them appreciated the retirement clientele that was majority of the guests.

âThe staff was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean & nice. Breakfast was good. But some of the facilities have wear & year & the water fountains really need to be cleaned. Pool nice & clean just very small. I'd stay here again especially for the money. Close to the beach & restaurants!!!â
