“Even though we were only there for a night, it was easily the best hotel experience I've had. The staff were friendly, including the owner, who checked us in and was making omelets for guests in the morning! Everything was clean. The location was great, along the river. I won't need to bother looking for where to stay the next time I'm in Idaho Falls, it'll be at the Driftwood!”

“This may sound weird but they had great wifi and my husband was able to hook up his xbox. After a long travel work week it was nice for him to be able to set up his console and shut his brain off. The other hotel we stayed at did not have the option so this was a surprise. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great amenities close by and nice and quiet even though there were a lot of guests. “Wow! What a treat for a stopover on our Oregon to Wyoming road trip. This little oasis is a gem, and the only problem was that we didn’t get to stay longer. This would be the perfect place for a mini girls or couples weekend. The pickleball, cornhole and ping pong tables were and added perk. The location seemed to be suburban, but the small, enclosed and well maintained property is a sanctuary for its 8 individual and well appointed cottages. “We only stayed for 45 minutes and they refunded my money, the building and entry was very disgusting it looked like it had not been cleaned for months. We went into our room and it had not been cleaned and there were multiple places on the ceiling and wall that had bugs and cob webs. I went to use the restroom as soon as I lifted the toilet seat bugs came out from underneath the toilet seat. There were multiple dead bugs on the bathroom floor. “Hotel had no common area bathroom on first floor, which would not have been important except my wife had a bathroom emergency during check-in and had to run up 18 stairs to our room on second floor and did not quite make it in time. Second floor also did not have an ice machine or vending machines. Room was clean and comfortable with good amenities (including two sitting chairs).
