The staff were so very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to assist.
The rooms were very spacious, clean, safe and quiet. â

âI drove to Detroit to attend a Tigers baseball game, and the Element Detroit was the perfect location for me, about a 5-minute walk to the ball park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (thanks Daniel!), my room was clean and nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and they provided a white noise machine (which was great because there was a good bit of mottorcyle noise outside!). "Love the Shinola design and was very excited to stay here - but will not return. Dont get me wrong, the design of the room was great and the check in was friendly and a glass of bubbly was received. The films telling about brand, materials, design etc was great to watch. Comfortable bed. But the cleaning between the days was so poor and had dust in the corners and mold in the "zink hole". Don't even think the pillows were fluffed between the days. The beautiful Shinola alarm clock showed wrong time (1 hour) and be prepared to wait very long if you having breakfast in house. It did not live up to expectations and there are plenty of other hotels out there I rather try next time. But location is great, value for money less."
