“Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. ”

“A small group of modern appartments in a rural location with a great pool and stunning views. 20 min walk from village with good restaurants and shops. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Going breakfast available. The walk back from the village is steep but a taxi was 5 Euros. If you get the exact Google Maps location it is not difficult to find. ”

Tutto perfetto, la permanenza in un posto magnifico in mezzo alle vigne, anche se a poca strada da Heraklion, è stata veramente rilassante. “Alles, maar dan ook alles aan dit hotel is geweldig... het start al met de ligging, vlakbij het centrum. De vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van de medewerkers is werkelijk niet te overtreffen. Ze staan echt bewust klaar voor hun hotelgasten. Het ontbijt, heerlijk ... glutenvrije boterhammen werden voorzien en de allergenen staan bij de gerechten. We hadden een prachtige, heel propere kamer op de 5de verdieping met een groot, zalig terras. ”

“I stayed in unit separate than the hotel but in city center. It can be quite noisy special in the night with restaurants open till midnight. Shower fittings were loose but manageable. One thing to be careful about No Lift and it is 3rd Floor. So if you have quite heavy luggage then you have to take bellboy help or drag it up yourself. Bathroom exhaust was not working.”
