About this space
The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. You are within walking distance of everything the Lakeside neighborhood has to offer. Or take a quick drive/bike ride to Pere Marquette beach on beautiful Lake Michigan. Check out a few of these favorites nearby! Bike rentals, The Deck (beach restaurant), Wonderland Distillery, Submarine Museum, Lakeside Emporium (candy store), The Frosty Cove (ice cream)
Note: the 8th bed is a blow up queen mattress.

The space
A spacious modern space with some original vintage touches. Featuring large bedrooms with large closets. There is a washer & dryer in the main floor bedroom closet along with provided detergent and dryer sheets. There is a 8th bed (Queen Air Mattress) in the upstairs bedroom closet. There is an ironing board and booster seat for children in the closet as well.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire living space minus a few attic access doors and the door in the upstairs bathroom leading to the rooftop (in the future we hope to modify that space to be available to guests). Access to the garage & shed is not available to guests.

Other things to note
Pets are allowed! All we ask is that you share the breed of the dog with us after booking your reservation. Also select the amount of pets staying with you when making the reservation. We ask that the pet stay off the furniture and bedding at all times. If your pet uses the bathroom outside please pick-up after it. Coffee is provided in the kitchen cabinets. Pots and pans are also provided should you decide to cook your own meals. Wood for fires will have to be purchased by you at the local gas station or grocery store. If propane for the grill runs out you will be responsible for swapping it out with a replacement from the local gas station. A partial reimbursement is eligible for that purchase, but you will need to inquire about that with us.

Very comfortable house, great location.

This is the second time we stayed in this nice big 4 bedroom house. It's a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute bike ride to a great beach! Nico is a very responsive host.

Great family house.

Nick was a very responsive host and the house is just as described in the listing and by other reviewers. House was very clean with a well furnished kitchen, comfortable beds, a washer and dryer, a nice back porch, a front porch with a swing, and, on a couple of hot days, very affective air conditioning. An easy drive or bike ride to some very beautiful Sandy beaches. We will stay there again in fact we’ve already booked another long weekend.

Beautiful, spacious house with old world charm and modern conveniences. We were looking for a house close to the Muskegon Country Club, and it’s just a couple mins away. It was important to us to have a bedroom and bath on the first floor for my elderly mom. Although she needed help on the entrance stairs, once inside she was able to move about with her walker comfortably. It was also really important to us to find a pet friendly home. Very happy we found this one. Nico, the property manager, was available whenever we had a question, and he made it clear that he cared about our comfort during our stay. That was very much appreciated.

Extended Weekend Retreat

The neighborhood is very pleasant, especially on a weekend when there could be some partying going on. The house is very clean and modernized. We especially liked the screened porch to be able to gather in the evening and relax. The back yard was perfect for our little 6 year old grandson to play football toss with his older sibblings. Location is easy access to the lake and to anything one may need. The property owner was also very assessable, if needed. Would love to stay here again! We live in Central Indiana and have made about 10 trips to Michigan, a very favorite state of ours, and we believe that this has been one of the best stays, if not, the best.

This house was very clean and set up very well. Looks exactly like the pictures. Nico was great at communicating and checking in. Would definitely recommend booking this house and would book again in the future if we find ourselves back in Muskegon

Great find!

We booked this property last minute for a short getaway. There were seven of us (four adults, three kids) and the house was great! Very clean! Well stocked kitchen and plenty of bath towels. Short drives to Grand Haven, Michigan Adventure and of course downtown Muskegon. We were pleasantly surprised the house was a short walk to some restaurants and a small grocery store which came in handy. Nico was very responsive both before and during our trip. We will be back! :)

A gem in this beachtown

We sought a house for us, our three teens and a dog, with close proximity to the beaches. Accented Lakeside Home did not disappoint. Less than a ten minute drive from Pere Marquette Beach and Kruse Beach (dog friendly), other Muskegon/Grand Haven attractions and activities were within a 15-20 minute drive away. The house was SPACIOUS and charming, an older renovated home with modern updates. There was plenty of room for the family to spread out. The enclosed back porch was a perfect escape for our dog. We grilled burgers with ease and sat in the large dining room often. When we had any issues, it was easy to contact the owner, who was courteous and prompt. I was pleasantly surprised that my last-minute vacation choice turned out to be a gem. Highly recommend!

A pleasant stay

We had a great time at this property. The owner was very prompt in answering any concerns and was easy to work with. It was a great location, so many things nearby and a market was less than 2 minutes away so it was really easy to go to the store and pick up anything we needed. Only issue was we were a big group and there were no locks on the bathroom doors, but we were able to make it work. Would stay here again.
