Lyxig villa med enorm trädgård och privat uppvärmd pool i paradismiljö

  • Villa Melitta är ett ädelt hus byggt av George Hatzidakis. Han använde all sin forskning på traditionell arkitektur och satte all sin kärlek i huset. Projektet avslutades 2004. Mitt i en fruktodling på 5000 kvadratmeter uppför ett litet palats som påminner oss om en venetiansk villa. Melitta ligger strax utanför byn Melidoni, i en lugn miljö med en bred och vacker utsikt över Tallaia-bergen och Psiloritis. Det finns ett brett utbud av träd i sin enorma trädgård - apelsin-, oliv-, päron-, äppel- och persikaträd - som erbjuder frukter under hela året. Det finns också blommor och ekologiskt odlade grönsaker i husets trädgård. Huset täcker 250 M2 och det finns 5 sovrum - 2 på bottenvåningen och 3 på övervåningen - som rymmer 10 personer, eller till och med 12 om du använder två bäddsoffor i vardagsrummet. Den har en smakfull inredning och det finns två verandor på övervåningen, vilket ger dig ett val av den vyn du föredrar.


    Mer information om villan i Rethymno, Kreta: Den närmaste flygplatsen i Heraklion (HER) ligger 50 km öster om villan, medan hamnen i Rethymnon ligger på ett avstånd av 29 km. Flygplatsen i Chania (CHQ) är ytterligare 90 km västerut, det är en timmes 30 minuters bilresa. En biluthyrning kan ordnas för att hämta dig på flygplatsen och köra dig till din villa.
    Eftersom ägarna samarbetar med ett biluthyrningsföretag har du möjlighet att hyra bilar till unika priser !!!
    Den närmaste stranden på Bali ligger på 6 km avstånd, den är sandig och erbjuder många möjligheter till vattensporter. Det finns också lugna platser för gäster att njuta av stranden utan att irritera av närliggande jet-skidåkare eller vattenskidåkare. Panormos sandstrand erbjuder dig ett andra val för bad i närheten. Det finns gott om vackra stränder i området också!
    Det finns några intressanta utflykter du kan åka i Kastri, Melidoni och i utkanten. Avstånd och rutter visas på kartan på webbsidan.

    Trädgårdsområdet är 5000 kvm. Inne i trädgården finns en kiosk, grillplats, vackra växter, fruktträd och många hörn att koppla av. Det finns också en 50 M2 vuxenpool och en 12 M2 barnpool.
    Den diskreta stenväggen som omger trädgårdarna och husets svala skugga erbjuder integritet och du känner att tiden går i din egen takt och ger dig en känsla av barnslig lycka.

We had an amazing week at the villa melitta. It is as beautiful as the photos and description suggest and Christina and Chrysoula were such helpful and attentive hosts. We were a party of 8 adults and 3 children and the villa was perfect for all ages. We will definitely be back.

the hosts we're great and left us a basket of treats when we arrived. they were available for any questions and suggested activities around. there is so much to see and do around this location and the house fit us perfectly. we'll gladly return again

Had a lovely stay the villa is fantastic in a beautiful area, picking oranges each morning to make fresh juice is fabulous. We had very mixed weather (early April) but we're still just about able to use the pool would have been impossible if it wasn't heated (but equally it hasn't got a cover so doesn't expect it to get close to 25 degrees when it's only 15 air temp). Would definitely come back

Great Villa with lovely garden

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. It has all you need and our welcome was great. The little town is a 5 min walk away and has 2 nice restaurants.

Beautiful villa with a lovely garden and pool. The Melidoni village is also very interesting, with a good restaurant and interesting attractions (Reptile Park, Honey museum, Melidoni cave).

Wer einen entspannten Urlaub mit mehreren Personen in einer schönen Umgebung am Rande deines Dorfes mit einer wundervollen Taverne machen möchte, ist in der geräumige und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villa Melitta mit dem traumhaften Garten bestens aufgehoben. Es war ein perfekter Urlaub, den wir dort mit 7 Personen verbracht haben. Wir wurden mit Blumen und einem Obstkorb sowie Öl, Honig, Aufschnitt, Brot und Wein begrüßt. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem.

Had a lovely stay with adults/teenagers in this great villa. The pool/outdoor area were fabulous. The villagers of Melodini were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful and spacious villa in a very charming town! It’s clean and exactly as described. The hosts are extremely nice and willing to help with anything! The kids had plenty of space to play in the garden and the pool was large enough for all 12 of us! Thank you for making our family reunion unforgettable, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay

This property was everything we could have imagined and hoped for. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and easy to contact. The local area is proper authentic Greece at its finest and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have been happier and would certainly go back.

Fuller family at Melita

Lovely villa. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Wonderful large pool with sunbeds and parasols. Kitchen had everything we needed and there was a large BBQ . Only small suggestion, would have been nice to have more information about where to go for supermarkets (Perama), restaurants (Panormo) and best beaches (worth the drive to the south coast).

Excellent stay

We had a great experience at this villa which ticked all the boxes. The pool, pool area, bbq area, grass areas are all perfect and the villa is sited just out of the village of Melidoni so whilst nice and quiet it was only a 5 minute wander to the centre of the village and it's amazing restaurant and chilled out small centre. The owners were very generous with their initial gifts and helpful with any needs but also allowed privacy for the party. This is certainly one villa we would want to come back and stay again at. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful private Villa with a wonderful view

The villa is really beautiful with wonderful views and a great pool! Communication was great. Our highlights were the pool, the BBQ and baking pizza and bread in the stone oven in the garden. The fresh figs, grapes and lemons from the garden were also delicious. The closest beach is about 15 mins drive from the Villa.

Fantastic villa

I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete.

Lovely week in a paradise

Our family with 9 persons age 20 yrs to 76 yrs had a wonderful time in Villa Meltemi in the beginning of September 2024. We enjoyed our days in the garden, in the pool area and also had a BBQ night. Our son with special needs and using manual wheelchair loved the villa and the Garden, too and had no problems going around with a little assistance. The location is perfect for exploring the other parts of the island, too. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was smoothly organized by the owner.

2nd time visiting

This was our second trip to this villa and it didn't disappoint. We love the garden and pool, and enjoyed grilling and making pizza's in the outdoor oven. The village is also wonderful and part of why we came back. It is charming and authentic. There is plenty of space in the house, which is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts are super nice and attentive. The kitchen knives are due for sharpening - but everything else was great. Hope to come back again for a 3rd visit!!

Luxury vacation in paradise

We were a family of nine from the age of 11 to 76 years. We got a warm welcome and a tour in the house and garden. We were excited about the “Kiosk” on the ground? In Denmark it is a small shopping place 😜 It was a nice terrace with a pergola above - lovely. We will at any time recommend the house to larger families- and others who want a quiet vacation in luxury

The villa was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The owner and family were extremely welcoming and helpful, as was everyone we encountered in Meldoni village which was a short walk away. The facilities in the villa provided everything we needed. The barbecue area was a great social area as was the shaded outside terrace, with ample seating and bespoke tables. The swimming pools were absolute gems, loved by the children especially. The gardens were well maintained and the views of the surrounding area were spectacular. We loved our stay at the villa and hope we can return one day.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Haus

Ein wunderschönes Haus in Alleinlage. Sehr gepflegt. Wir bekamen zur Begrüßung Wein und erste Lebensmittel. Die Bilder beschreiben nicht wie toll es ist. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Der Pool ist groß und auch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir konnten jeden Tag vin den Orangenbäumen im Garten unseren eigenen Saft pressen. In der Küche findet man alles was man braucht inkl. Saftpresse. Es gibt 5 Schlafzimmer und 4 Bäder. Der Garten, der Pool und das Haus sind sehr groß. Einfach ein TOPHAUS. Auch die Lage ist für Ausflüge sehr gut geeignete. 👍

Loved Villa Melitta

Just returned from an amazing 2 week stay at Villa Melitta. Lovely welcome basket on arrival and friendly greeting from the owners. Facilities were perfect, beautiful outdoor space, lovely pool with separate kids pool. Lots of great areas to sit outside in garden with a large shaded area perfect to get out of the sun for lunch. We also made use of the bbq and wood fire pizza oven. Spacious indoors with 2 bedrooms, 1 with en-suite, and separate bathroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms, 1 with en-suite, and separate bathroom upstairs. We were a group of 2 families with young children (aged 5 and 2 x 18 months) and Antonis was really helpful with any questions prior to arrival and confirming use of cots, high chairs and stair gates etc. We would definitely recommend Villa Melitta.
