“The surrounding area is maybe not so exciting, nevertheless this family hotel is highly recommended for onsen adventure. If you travel with your partner you can book a private onsen for 40 min for yourself or stay in male or female onsen. We have booked a room with own onsen outside that was superb. The dinner and the breakfast were fantastic. We have really enjoyed our one day stay.”
“The greatest retreat from the hectic streets of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. After all those cities we came to this hotel in Minakami and never wanted to leave.

"Very friendly staff and exquisit food on top of that. First time visiting a ryokan and was not disappointed! Three private onsens that i could use and very foreign friendly overall.
Highly recommend to visit if you want a taste of ryokan life on your trip and worry of your tattoes forsbid you from using the onsen - it is totally ok att this place!"
