“Beautiful hotel on an amazing little island just off of Ishigaki. The hotel and staff are all amazing. The rooms are spacious and traditional in feel. The tasting menu was incredible. ”

“Fantastisk hotell med alla bekvämligheter och nöjen. Snorklade, tog massage, åt fantastisk frukost, badade ute & inne, var på spaet, allt var toppen. Rekommenderas varmt!”

“My friend and I stayed here for 13 nights from mid to late October and loved it. Fresh breakfast buffet served every day 06:30-10:00. Juices are always fresh and tasty - mango juice, shikuwasa juice, pineapple juice, Marivu Okinawan special drink (my favorite). Scrambled eggs are always ready (also my favorite). Everything is refilled as soon as possible.
There's a nice view of the ocean and the trees from the restaurant. The long is cozy and welcoming.
The staff are always helpful, polite...

“A really lovely homestay, significantly different to how we normally travel, but a real pleasure. I normally don’t eat breakfast but made sure I enjoyed the Okinawan breakfast in the garden every day between 8-9am. Not to everyone’s taste, but delicious to me.
It’s close to a bus route that goes into Ishigaki town and north to Kabira Bay. Buses aren’t frequent but are on time and taxis are available too. ”

“Hotel opened just one day before we arrived, so it was very new and had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Location was great, very central but no beach nearby. We borrowed free bikes from the hotel to go to the closest beach. We didn't try the breakfast but coffee in the hotel was good. Room size was ok but not very spacious with luggage. We got twin beds which could had been more comfortable, pillows and mattresses were really hard.”

“The hotel is very close to ferry and bus terminal (5-7 min) which is very convenient in case one have booked a tour starting from there. Personal is very helpful. The hotel title outside shows “Guest house” followed by Japanese characters (nothing mentions “Orihime” ) which could be confusing for not Japanese speakers. Likely the receptionist was outside and could confirm that I am at the right place.”
