Can’t beat the location!!!
The Yachtsman location is perfect. It’s far enough away from the crowds that it feels like paradise and close enough to get anywhere quickly in Kill Devill Hills, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head and Manteo.We’ve stayed in several of the Yachtsman condos over the years because the overall property is well-maintained, on the beach and with a lovely pool. The beaches are beautiful and never crowded.This particular property was nice - the living room furniture and entertainment system were very nice. The beds were pretty comfortable but could use an upgrade. The oven and dishwasher were great but the fridge and dryer could use upgrades (I am worried about the lint remover in the dryer - it definitely needs looking after.)The unit has had some water damage in the front bedroom and there’s a residual smell that was prominent. (The door to the water tank closet in that room showed evidence of the damage.) But overall, the condo is clean and lovely.We had to contact the Vacasa management group about two things - the internet wasn’t working and the dryer knob was broken off when we arrived. They were extremely prompt and helpful. Both issues were resolved quickly.
