“The Aoi Hotel is located centrally to great restaurants, shopping, local attractions, and beautiful views. I was pleasantly surprised to be far enough from the main hustle and bustle to have peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to enjoy Kyoto. The staff is helpful and friendly, just a chat away using their cool interactive pad accessible in the room. “This hotel is amazing. The breakfast was really nice with a set menu plus buffé, real fresh honey and juices. The bed cover felt like clouds and the view from the bar and restaurant was perfect, looking over gion and the riverbank. It’s also a few meters from a cute ”old Kyoto street” narrow with restaurants and lanterns.”
