  • Kom och bo på en helt renoverad lägenhet bara några steg från den populära Vanderbilt Beach! Enheten har en beachy stuga känsla med en fantastisk utsikt över bukten ... perfekt för en dag på stranden följt av en natt på lanai med den varma brisen. Du är också bara en mil från Mercado och Pavillion centra för att njuta av middag / barer, filmer och shopping. Eller kanske du vill gå i takpoolen och / eller badtunnan och ta in de underbara solnedgångarna. Denna enhet erbjuder det bästa av Neapel!

    Dessa lägenheter är helt renoverade och redo för din vistelse! Det finns en queen size-säng, garderob och badrum separerade från köket / vardagsrummet. Staplad tvättmaskin och torktumlare är redo att användas. Internet med hög hastighet och kabel-tv ingår. Sängkläder, toalettartiklar, handdukar, solstolar, badhanddukar allt för din användning.

    Dessa lägenheter ligger 3 minuters promenad till stranden. Det finns en liten närbutik på hörnet samt "Beach Box" café / bar. Darumas restaurang ligger 1 minuts promenad. Du kan stanna hela tiden utan att behöva köra någonstans! 1 mil bort ligger en cykelaffär som hyr ut och det finns en fin stig och cykelfält längs Vanderbilt Rd upp till köpcentrumen, samt en snyggt asfalterad cykelväg och sidospår upp till Delnor Wiggins State Park (1 1/2 mi bort). Stranden har en ny anläggning, vatten fontäner och uthyrning (stolar, jetski etc.). Ritz-hotellet ligger tvärs över gatan med fantastiska restauranger och tiki-bar vid stranden.

    Du behöver definitivt inte en bil om du är en strandbum! Om du gör det finns en tilldelad täckt plats reserverad för den här enheten. Uber och Lyft är lätt tillgängliga.

This vacation rental should be evaluated by VRBO. In the description there is a vague mention of construction in the area. The construction is a major hotel complex going up right outside your door. That’s only 2 sides of the building, the other side has a different construction project going on. So 3 sides of the complex is in a major construction zone. Construction started at 6:15am when a dumpster was drop off to the site and it shook the entire building not to mention the noise could be heard for blocks. Pool is on top of building (3 stories) but unless you mind 100 construction working watching you it’s not worth using. On the inside there is no bureau to unpack your clothes from your suitcase. There is a 3 tier Tupperware container which I’m not sure how the owners expect 2 grown adults to fit a week’s worth of clothing in it. If there was no construction I’d give this place a 3 at the best. It was clean. We contacted the property manager and told her we couldn’t stay there. We tried to be fair and asked for only 1/2 the rental cost and was denied. We moved out after 1 day.

I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this rental.

I cannot recommend this rental property or VRBO. Although the write-up on the website is accurate and the place was clean, there are other factors to consider. When I arrived, the elevator was not working so that I had to carry my stuff up two flights of stairs. I tried contacting various people including the host, but to no avail. The hot tub also was not working during my entire rental week. My experience with host, Meg, and the disposition of my complaint were unsatisfactory. After numerous conversations (via the VRBO app/website), Meg was ineffective in getting the property manager to have the elevator repaired until four days into my week. Host Meg must have been upset with me because she wrote: "From here I will not be answering any messages from you through this app/website. If you need anything, you are welcome to call VRBO and they can contact me." Well, I called VRBO and they agreed to refund $500 from the rental price. I soon received an email saying: "My refund of $1.00 (yes, you read that right: $1) has been credited to you". I had to laugh. I followed up three times with VRBO after I returned home but they did not agree to honoring what they said. The moral is: ask the following question before you arrive: "If (fill in the blank, such as pool, hot tub, elevator) is not working, will I get a partial refund?"

The condo is well equipped, the location is great, the neighbors friendly, and we were prepared for the construction. The condo is an easy walk to the beach; the rooftop pool was clean with ample seating; and the area is great for walking and biking. But we did have some issues with the condo itself. On Saturday (move in day) we got a call from the owner stating that she had an issue with the previous tenant and we could not get in until Sunday. No specifics were given and the owner put us up in an alternative VRBO property for Saturday night. We understand that things happen, but the house we stayed at was dirty, not well equipped and we had to sleep on the lower half of a bunk bed. We appreciate the effort, but the accommodations were not at all how we wanted to start our vacation. Then on Sunday, we moved to this condo, where the Internet connection was not reliable and the security was weak. If you depend on Internet for work or daily responsibilities, this may not be the right place for you. The bathroom sink was clogged and extremely slow. The shower had small piles of sand accumulated around the edges of the floor and there were 6-7 bottles of previous tenants' shampoos and soaps on the floor. The TV connection was spotty and there was trash from previous tenants in the beach chair cup holders. The roof pool was nice, but the spa was not operational. I provided this information to the owner within a few days of our departure and got neither a response nor an offer to compensate us for these issues, so I am comfortable sharing in this review.

Top Notch Location

This simple well-stocked one bedroom condo is all about location. Just over a block from the main access to Vanderbilt Beach. Close to several great beach area restaurants and yet easy access to all kinds of shopping, restaurants and groceries.

Location is excellent

Pro’s Location, location, location - 5 min walk to beach and the beach box bar. 30 minute walk to Mercato (1.5 miles) which had lots of restaurants and bars. Even if we didn’t go to the beach by the condo, every evening we’d grab a beverage and chair to head to the beach for sunset. Multiple times we’d come back to drop off our chairs then head back to the beach box bar to listen to live music ( because it was so easy and close). They have the same bands every week. Check their FB page for schedule. Even though the last schedule posting was a month old, it was still accurate. But the locals told us a conglomeration bought out most of the multi-block area and are building condos. I believe the hole in the wall beach box cafe is supposed to close sometime in April. Very sad. If you want a reasonably priced drink, you’re going to have to walk 30 min instead of 5. Not sure if this condo complex will still be around then. Well stocked on disposables like soap, TP, laundry detergent, etc. Cute balcony Comfy bed Cons: Smelled musty Tiny bathroom which smelled like urine (but had a humidifier, and after we threw the rug in the wash, it smelled a little better) For the price point in this amazing location, I have no complaints. Restaurants we enjoyed Lowbrow pizza Thin crust pizza Azan - in mercato The fish house (bonito springs) Enzo’s (bonito springs) Barefoot beach is really nice. It’s weird because you have to drive through a gated community to get there. But they are used to it. Cruisin tiki in Bonita springs was also a blast. Leaves from the Fish House in Bonita springs. So much fun! FYI. The fish dip at the fish house is excellent.

Absolutely fabulous.

Although our arrival date was Wednesday and not Saturday due to the snow here in CT nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and look forward to another five or six days in November of this year.
