Detta avskilda PET FRIENDLY hem drivs av vår sol gård och har utsikt över Mr. Vatteldamm. Du kommer att upptäcka lockelsen av hållbart boende medan du njuter av avancerade bekvämligheter, bekväma möbler och ett trädbevuxet paradis precis utanför dörren. Tornande träd, en yttre spiraltrappa och charmiga fågelmatare välkomnar dig. Sätt dig ner och luta dig tillbaka i det mysiga vardagsrummet, utrustat med 1 av 4 smarta TV-apparater med 120MBPS Fiber-Optic Wifi. Det fullt utrustade köket har ett matbord och en frukostbar. Uppdatera under soluppvärmt ångvatten i 1 av 2 orörda badrum inklusive färska plyschhanddukar och miljövänliga tvålar. För vila och föryngring sover 4 plyschmadrasser med lyxiga sängkläder 5-6 gäster. Det privata sovrummet på andra våningen kan ställas in med 2 tvillingar eller 1 king size-säng. Det gemensamma utrymmet sovrummet har en queen size-säng. Sittområdet har en dubbel soffa med dölj-en-säng. Sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en enkelsäng och en entrédörr som leder ut till bakdäck och handikappramp. Däck på framsidan av huset har en spiraltrappa upp till den andra våningen balkongen. Mycket nära hemmet finns en täckt paviljong med kolgrillar och ett picknickbord. Från uteplatsen kan du njuta av fantastisk utsikt över det privata ankedammet och trädbevuxna kullarna. Ta en promenad över strandpromenaden när du slingrar dig genom frodiga vägar under höga trädtak och bredvid ljusa, blommande blomsterbäddar.

A peaceful oasis in nature!

Shangri-la is a beautiful oasis! We are a family of 5 and stayed in the North Bunkhouse. The place was super clean, comfortable and beautiful. Communication with Ed was fantastic. He was on top of everything and provided clear instructions. It was easy to find the property and there was a great packet of information waiting for us when we arrived. There's no cell phone reception there, but Ed had given us a heads up on that. The wifi worked great. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone who has a true appreciation of nature and enjoys the quiet peacefulness of the woods. Thanks for a great stay Ed and team!

Trip into nature

The home was very nice. If you are interested in nature and birding this is the place to go. We saw many kinds of birds and other wild life as well. The hiking trails are easy for everyone and easily seen. Not far from Naples or Hammondsport and wineries. Lovely stay, super energy efficient.

Great Stay in the Woods

This property is very special. It is an eco-resort tucked in the woods with everything that you need. If you are looking to unplug, to have no cell phone service, and to take in nature and everything it has to offer, and this is the place for you.

Peaceful and beautiful getaway

My husband, my mother and I usually go to the Adirondacks for a long weekend every summer. This summer, however, because of the pandemic our plans were cancelled. So we decided to try and find something closer to home (Rochester, NY) that had a similar feel. We were really in need of a peaceful getaway in the country away from the chaos of 2020. I came across Ed's listing for Shangrila and it was perfect for what we were looking for! It's right outside Naples in the beautiful Bristol hills. We had a great lunch in town on the way and stopped at the local outdoor market on the way back to get some goodies. Ed was very friendly, helpful and communicative as soon as we booked and throughout the process. He met us when we arrived and gave us all the info we needed for our stay. We booked the North Bunk House which had plenty of room for us to spread out and be comfy. We especially loved sitting in the balcony and watching the tons of different birds in the trees above us. There is a beautiful view of the duck pond (right in front of the house) and hills surrounding us. And we loved getting to know the muscovy ducks that live there. There are all kinds of trails around the property some inside wooded areas and we loved exploring them all. We really appreciated how eco-friendly everything is including the fact that everything is solar powered. And that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog. We wanted to be more "unplugged" during our stay so we didn't watch tv, but there were plenty of tv's and internet you could use if you wanted. We met a couple other of the grounds staff while we were there and they were also very friendly and knowledgeable when we had questions about the ducks, other wildlife or the property. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again sometime in the future.

Perfect Place, "Private" pond and Nature trails, Super-High Quality Facility and super-nice owner

We must say, Shangri-la was one of our top favorite place to visit in the last decade. It all begins with a great owner who made us feel like home. It then moves to a perfectly well equipt facility with anything from silverware, cooking tools, a few grills with all needed tools, High-quality TV, Super-Fast Internet (it is important in this area), and really nice beds and rooms. It then follows to the pieces of nature that surround Shangrila and being nurtured by the owner. Shangrila is not only the perfect place to stay in, it also meets our value of eco-friendly housing/property and great owners. I will definitely go back with my family.

If you love peace, quiet and nature then this is the place! My husband and I took our 5 year old daughter plus my father-in-law for a weekend of rest and family time. The cabin was spotless! The bedding was heavenly! Our cabin sat on a duck pond which was wonderful to just sit on the porch and look at the geese and duck. Beautiful trails to stroll along. Ed was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great host. Next time we will stay longer...I didn’t want to leave!

A short Weekend

Surrounded by nature and yet close to town

Loved our stay. When you're at the house, it's like being in the middle of nowhere and we really enjoyed watching the birds, deer, skunks, frogs, bats, etc. That said, you're just a couple minutes from Naples for groceries and restaurants. Ed is a kind host and the farm team is friendly. We are also really glad that it was all solar powered. Definitely would recommend.

Great stay

Ed greeted us and showed us around. The place was just as advertised but better! Lots of wildlife. Really peaceful place to return to each night. So nice we cooked in instead of eating out for dinners!

Wonderful Escape from the City

Shangri-La is the perfect escape from city life. It's surrounded by many acres of preserved nature with tons of wildlife and lots of lovely trails. The property is new, clean, and super comfy. Ed, the owner, is a great guy and made my friend's and my stay so much better by being easily reachable, having tons of knowledge of the area, and being a fun person to chat with. I'm considering coming back with even more friends for next time!

Great place to get away!

This is a wonderful place. If you want to be left alone in the woods with all the modern amenities, this place is for you. The interior is a beautiful, clean, and functional space. Nice pond view and lots of wildlife. We enjoyed the short trail on the property and loved the free range ducks. This was a family friendly place and the staff was awesome. The caretaker and staff where very friendly and where happy to provide us with information. Over all can not say enough about this rental. Loved it.

Wonderful!

I would like to thank Ed, Dan and Patrick for a wonderful weekend that we had in Shangri-La. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind to us. We were traveling as a company of 4 adults, 1 y.o. and a dog, and we were all feeling welcomed. We were all very happy with our stay. We stayed in North Bunk House, it was very comfortable, clean, with plenty of amenities. We were surprised how high tech this place is (solar panels, great wi-fi, cameras of the area that you can monitor on TV, etc.). This place is very peaceful, quiet and close to nature. We saw many domestic and wild animals around (ducks, feral cats, cute baby skunks and even friendly black bears). This place is close to Finger Lakes, wineries of Naples and Keuka lake (we visited Konstantin Frank for a wine tasting) and conveniently between our main destinations (Niagara Falls and Watkins Glen). I can highly recommend this place, we will for sure be back! Thank you!

Great hospitality

Ed and his staff, (Dave and Patrick) were extremely hospitable and made our NYE stay very enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure we had anything we needed and quickly followed up with us. The bunk house was spotless clean when we arrived - the furnishings were very comfortable. The winter trail was well groomed so we could easily take our dog on a walk around the marsh loop. I would definitely recommend this rental, and will be back again!
