“Very nice log motel, the couple that run it are great, quiet, homey feel, nice king bed, nice breakfast. We checked in very late, like 12:30 am, we should have called them earlier and warned them, they live on the property. We booked though Expedia so they didn’t have a phone number to call us and make sure we were still coming so they had to stay up and wait for us. So sorry. But they were extremely nice about it. “This is a poorly maintained old property. Insufficient electrical outlets. Takes forever to get hot water and difficult to keep it adjusted. Shower was barely big enough to stand in it and water was barely more than a drizzle. Light bulb not working. Free breakfast was advertised but not provided.Three nights stay with no housekeeping of any kind. Will never return.”

“Very helpful staff, clean comfortable room. Except, at 2 am people in room above took shower and the noise was atrocious!! Could not hear anything in side walls but ceiling was not soundproof and plumbing was very loud. Other than that, stay was great!”

“There were 2 big issues with our stay. One of which was the smell of the room. They use some kind of mint cleaner but it just masked the musty smell. It was a dog room but in all of our other stays with our dogs we haven’t experienced that. The room wasn’t technically dirty but the smell and condition of the room like the bathroom doorknob about to fall off made the cleanliness highly questionable. “Very nice place. Decor was tasteful. Room was clean and large. Staff was helpful and check-in was fast. The only negative was the HVAC unit fan was loud and the whole unit rattled while the compressor was on. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.”

“We truly enjoyed our time staying at the teepee on the property. It's located at the back of the property and it is peaceful. The bed was comfortable and was clean inside. There was also a table and futon couch and microwave/fridge. A few things to note: There is a small airport across the road and we heard a plane flying very nearby at night which we wouldn't have expected. Also there are trains which pass and sound their horns. It's not loud but I heard it while my wife completely slept...

“We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort...

“This cabin was new and updated with a cool loft area for the kids to sleep. The cabin is also close to so many neat hikes. The fire pit was awesome too, we did s'mores every night. I would highly recommend this place to any avid hikers!”
