Hi Elsa, We just wanted to clear up this review for other people who might be looking at the score and wondering why it is so low. Your group decided it was a good idea to smoke in the room all night and when we let you know that there would be an extra fee to clean up the smoke you were not happy about it. You admitted to us in an email that indeed your group was smoking in the room,just to clarify for other people. We are non smoking property and this is due to the fact everyone deserves the right to enjoy there time at our place. We do our absolute best not to charge extra fees, but in this case it took us 3 people and 6 hours to do a deep clean on this room as the smoke in there was that bad. We ask you Elsa in the future to please have some respect for other accommodation properties as this will also help you enjoy your time without extra fees as well.

Hi Anonymous, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. You are right we do not offer daily house keeping. We do state this on Expedia as well as everywhere else we sell rooms. One of the reasons we do this is because a vast majority of our guests do not want us in their rooms daily for privacy issues. Also, this helps in keeping our rental rates low so people can use the money they save on accommodations for other fun activities while they are in the Okanagan. We do encourage people to read the property descriptions before booking so there is no misunderstandings. As far as the smoking goes, you are right in the fact we are a non smoking property and we will not supply ash trays for this reason. We do expect smokers to discard their butts in a responsible way. From time to time we do get groups of people who smoke, because of this you might see them smoking off property. We do go out and clean our property, but sometimes guests notice things before we have chance to correct them. Next time i encourage you to talk to the property staff about your issues so we have a chance to make things right. This also will help you enjoy your stay where ever you go. After all vacations are meant for relaxation and enjoyment. We hope you have a great rest of summer.

Thanks Judith for the review, we are so glad you liked Naramata and the beautiful area. We definitely do not recommend that adults sleep on the futons as they are typically used for small children. We are looking into replacing the futons this winter as well as doing a few other upgrades.

Hi anonymous, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We just wanted to apologize for the grass.Typically I cut it every second day but I had to work out of town and could not get the grass cut when it should have been(not an excuse) Rest assured I am on my regular schedule now for the remainder of summer. Please next time let us know about the tea as we have a few different flavors available. We had a recent run on people asking for mint tea and probably should have put regular tea back in the rooms. We do hope you had a great stay in Naramata and hope to see you again.
