Family Friendly Home between Amish Country and Mohican

This house is to make your vacation easy, comfortable with a feeling of home. It has dishwasher and washer/dryer, so you can enjoy family with conveniences.

This house master bed and master bath upstairs. The master bed has queen bed. The master bath has a large soaking bathtub, separate deluxe shower, a stackable washer and dryer for family convenience.

First level has another bedroom with queen bed, a "game room" with Futon and a living room with sofa bed. Hence it will sleep 8 if needed. Full bath on main floor as well.

The Living room has a nice ambiance with an electric fireplace, sofa bed, and large television.

The Kitchen has all appliance (frig w/ ice maker, stove and over stove microwave and dishwasher). If you want to have sit down meals, the kitchen has pots/pans, dishes, and table and chairs.

The two main bedrooms, game room, and living room all have their own television.

This house has a front porch to watch traffic pass by, but it also has a back deck for privacy. There is off-street parking in back as well. The back deck has a table and chairs plus a grill (you need to bring charcoal), a firepit (you need to bring the wood) is in back yard.

This house was designed to be affordable for an entire family to enjoy their vacation. It gives separate rooms, two bathrooms, functional kitchen, and much more.

You will enjoy being in Holmes County where you are 15 minutes from Mohican Adventures and 15 minutes from Millersburg and Amish Country.

May you make magical memories in this family friendly house while you enjoy some of the best natural and cultural beauties of Ohio.

This house is in the village of Nashville and is on a busy road that allows you to sip coffee on the front porch and watch everything from Amish buggies to tractors to tractor trailers drive down the road.

Overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect for a family gathering. Host was very helpful and responded promptly when we had questions. Only thing we didn't care for was it is located on a very busy road that has lots of traffic noise that we didn't expect.

Check in was easy, house was clean and inviting, kitchen was well equipped. parking in back was convenient. The location was quiet and centrally located. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Check in was fine however although the inside was pretty clean I did not feel very comfortable . Outside patio furniture was dirty and could not enjoy sitting outside at all. I was told by host that there as no propane for grill but once arriving there is another grill available with charcoal I was not informed of that and I also never heard but from my host after that and I did ask him about early check in but no response. Will not be booking again

We were on an anniversary getaway. The house has a comfortable charm to it. We loved the quietness of the area. The Buckeye Deli just up the road was a great spot to grab a quick bite - we recommend the burgers. Outdoor temps were high during our visit, so we appreciated the downstairs of the house being really nice & cool. There was a noticeable difference when we were upstairs in the master, even with using the provided fan. The bed was super comfy though. The nice, deep tub in the master bath is a bonus! The shower in the master leaks & you aren't able to use some of the jets, which was a bummer. The downstairs shower works just fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would visit again.

Perfect for our family’s Amish stay in Holmes County.

We had a great stay at this charming older home! Yes, the house has some age to it, but everything was exactly as described, and the host did a fantastic job of communicating. That level of honesty and transparency made us feel totally comfortable from the start. There are signs posted how to use things which was nice. The home has character and a cozy, lived-in feel that added to the experience. It was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. If you're looking for something unique with personality—and hosted by someone who really cares—this is a great choice. We’d definitely stay again!

Charming little house

Definitely got the most bang for my buck on this place. Leaps and bounds better than any hotel I’ve stayed in the Millersburg area. Everything we needed and more. We had a great stay and hope to visit again.

Nice budget-friendly rental

We stayed in this property July 2020, so we knew this was more of a "budget" rental. We were ok not having all the bells and whistles, as we were looking for someplace safe and clean to eat dinner, play games and sleep -- we planned to be gone all day each day we were there. We did have issues with the CLEAN portion of our requirements. Upon arrival, it was warm inside, because it was so hot outside. We decided to turn all the ceiling fans on to get some air movement, but were horrified to see how dirty they were. We had to get on chairs and clean every ceiling fan, as there was at least 1/2" of dust on all of them. That first impression left us weary about the cleanliness of everything else. :/ My next issue is the cookware provided. The pots and pans were in such bad shape that we didn't feel safe cooking with them. Those coatings that are coming off the cookware are definitely getting in the food cooked in them. I went to Dollar General and purchased a saute pan to use while we were there and we covered the sheet pan with foil when we cooked on it. While I appreciate that they are trying to provide a budget-friendly rental, I think they need to make sure that the place is clean and provides safe items for use. Otherwise, our stay was what we expected.

Great place close to Mohican

Definitely a busy road as described so we preferred to be outback for less noise. Horse and buggies rolled by. Host very easy to get ahold of for invite to august app. Such a charming house . My daughter and I will stay again when visiting family at Mohican wilderness

Careful with this one!

I would NOT recommend this property! The property has potential however there were many things that cause me to rate this property as I did. First, parking-was not explained prior to arrival nor was the location of the "code"pad given. Code did not work and had to download an app in order to get in. First thing we noticed once inside is the toilet on the main floor was not level and rocked everytime you sat on it and then leaked at your feet. The hand towel rack we were afraid to use for fear it would come off the wall. Both bedroom ceiling fans were covered in at least a 1/2 inch of dust and there were cobwebs everywhere. The soaking tub is just that, no jets and was dirty. The deluxe shower was badly installed (nothing like the picture in the description). There were gobs of caulk around the jets and the doors didn't close correctly. The ceiling in the kitchen was bowed and looked like it could drop on you at any time. The ceiling in the game room was patched. The couches were not comfortable to sit on (very brokedown). There were notes about how to use things in the house however not clear. Examples: wifi password but no indication of user name, refrain from using jets in the deluxe shower on a note up in that bathroom. When I spoke with Greg about the condition and requested a partial refund he said he was trying to keep the pricing low to make it family friendly and was not willing to reduce the price at all.

Wonderful Time

I had trouble getting in the house when we first got there but it was probably my fault! We had a wonderful time ! House was very nice and clean ! Had fun just chilling and relaxing!! Thank you very much for everything!
