This is our second stay at this lovely little house, but it won’t be our last. The private, peaceful location at the end of the bluff is perfect for relaxing, yet an easy walk to downtown. We had an A/C problem the first morning, but the owner addressed the problem and got things back to normal very quickly. We highly recommend this property.

A Favorite

This home is one of our favorites to stay in while we are visiting. It is so charming and cozy, located in a quiet neighborhood, and is right on the bluff not too far from town. We love it here!

Excellent place to stay.

We loved the house and it’s location. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Natchez. We stayed for two weeks and liked the house and area so much we have already booked four weeks for next year.

We loved having the Mississippi River literally outside the front door. The secluded location at the end of a neighborhood street made for a quiet relaxing stay and the meandering river front sidewalk was a great way to walk to Natchez’s historic downtown district.

The Best View of the Mississippi

The River House was very comfortable, clean , updated … the front porch was great for watching the sun set … Jay was very quick in responding to any questions that we needed answered .. Our next visit to Natchez will be at the River House

Lovely River View Cottage

This was our second time at the river view cottage on the bluff. The house is lovely, well-maintained and immaculate. A perfect place to view the river while sitting on the porch. Enjoyed our stay.

Romance of Yesteryear

Sympathetically renovated, keeping the original feel of the beautiful 1930's. Lovely view, comfy beds with sweet-smelling linens, fluffy towels! And beautiful Natchez - words are hard to find for such a beautiful town and fantastic citizens.

Enchanting River View Cottage

Enchanting house with an amazing view of the Mississippi River. It is a bluff-top jewel in a lovely neighborhood in Natchez. We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated and immaculately clean cottage and hope to go back one day. A perfect retreat. Loved it!

Great Location and Cozy House

My husband and I loved our stay at this home! It's located on the river and has a great sunset view over the river! It's a 5 min drive to most points of interest in town. You can also walk to a lot of places easily! The bed was pretty comfortable and the water pressure was great! We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay! The property is on a dead end street on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. Even in the heat of August, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch enjoying the view and listening to the birds. No traffic sounds except the low thrum of tugboats on the river. The paved trail to downtown was just across the street, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stroll to the farmer’s market across from bthe Grand Hotel. The house is very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding

I would have given this stay 6 stars, but since that wasn't an option, how about 5.9? ...Also, I called our host a day before our arrival to see if we could get an earlier check-in than 3:00 and he'd do it if possible ... got a text from him at 12:45 informing us the house was ready!

Location location location

My husband and I stayed at this cute little cottage and the location cannot be beat. It sits on a bluff with a magnificent view of the Mississippi River. It is also on a dead-end street with only two other houses, so there is no traffic. A walkway in front of the house takes you all the way to some of the downtown activities. The owner is very helpful and easy to work with-we had a problem with our check out date (totally my fault) and he was very cordial when we ended up delaying his cleaning lady by an hour. This is a great place to stay when visiting Natchez

Brother and Sister

My brother and I made a weekend trip to Natchez to visit the Natchez City Cemetery. Our parents are buried there, and this was our first trip back since our Dad passed away in March 2022. Our parents were also the last occupants of this property, and we absolutely love what has been done to improve it. Jay, the host, was amazing and always responded timely to any questions or comments. The location is so close to downtown and restaurants. There was a Merry Market at the Convention Center while we were there, and the Christmas Parade! We will be back!!

Great place to stay in Natchez

Great location on a high bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The sunsets over the river were spectacular to look at in the evening either from the windows or from the bench out front. The house is located just minutes from downtown Natchez in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to downtown. The inside of the house was comfortable. The kitchen was new and well stocked with appliances, coffee, etc. The living room furniture was comfortable to relax on while watching those sunsets or just watching TV. The property manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was an all around good experience. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay, everything was very comfortable. Good neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable. Choice in coffee maker -single or pot. Plenty of towels and supplies provided. Thank you for a lovely stay.
