“Riggs hotell är jättebra på alla sätt och vis. Och läget är fantastiskt - väldigt bra gångavstånd till det mesta. 10-15 minuter till Vita huset. 30 minuter till Lincoln memorial. 15 minuter till fantastiska Washington Monument. Nära till de bästa museerna. Lite längre till Capitol Hill men helt ok.
Bra städning och trevlig personal. Det enda som var lite störande var två saker kopplade till hotel.com det ena att att vi skulle ha inklusive frukost men man fick 'bara' en 25 USD per dag biljett och...

There is a fridge in the room, and although no coffee / tea making in the room there is an excellent facility on the 2nd floor. "Mycket serviceminded personal överallt. Riktigt bra rum och badrum, väldigt skön säng, sänglinne och handdukar. Klanderfri städning. Trevlig bar. Saknar miljötänk kring handduksbyten vilket drar ner betyget på det. 10 minuters promenad till närmaste tunnelbanestation. Man befinner sig i en storstad och trafiken hörs väl i rummen mot Thomas circle. Det störde inte oss men ifall man är känslig för sådant är det nog bättre att be om ett rum åt andra hållet. "
"The hotel is close to a trainstation which was convienient arriving from Dulles airport. Within walking distance from The national mall with all the sights and also close to the Warf with plenty of nice bars and restaurants. The room was very small but as you got used to it it works. The bed is supercomfortable but as you only get in from one side you have to think about who is more likely to need to get out of bed first ...Breakfast was really nice, really good coffeservice, the only thing I missed was fresh pancakes/waffles. Lobbyarea has a cool livingroom vibe and the bar serves up some good drinks and barfood. Eveything in the room is controlled by an ipad, it works and you get used to it qiuckly. A good hotel close to the main monuments and museums. Train station close by and easy to get to airport or unionsation. "
