“What a nice place! Stayed here for 3 nights on our Japan road trip. We had our own wheels so we had no problems getting there, since the location is a bit remote. But what a nice setting!!! High on a hill overlooking the coast line / Pacific ocean. Being 5 in our family we checked into a Japanese suite, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Very spacious room with comfy futons. “Wonderful location and excellent service! My one suggestion would be to offer larger sizes in the yukatas to be more inclusive. Also check the consistency - I asked for the largest size on the first day and it was perfect, the next day they changed it to a smaller size when the room was cleaned, and when I requested the largest size again it was much smaller. I thought it was mis-labeled, but the next one was a little bigger although not entirely comfortable. So they vary a lot in actual size.”

“The staff was not shy of attempting to utilize English while helping foreign visitors, which was a great help when my Japanese couldn't help. The staff working in the restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly helpful, kind, and forthcoming when trying to converse. The homely feel of the room could be felt by these staff members, making the stay feel cozy throughout.
