"This is a great house for a crowd with open, welcoming kitchen/living room with a view in an amazing isolated spot overlooking a beach along the NC500. Sheep in the front and the waterfall a wee walk in the back. Good spot for a family or a big group of friends (lots of twin beds, and nearly all rooms have private bath) with amazing facilities to feed a big group (two dishwashers, two fridges, good pots, pans etc). "The cottage was in a very scenic and peaceful setting which suited us. We used the cottage as a base for some local walks and other walks further afield. We discovered that the cottage was about 10 miles from the nearest main road and it took about 30 to 40 minutes of driving on a single track road to get to the main road. The nearest grocery stores were in Lochinver. There was quite a lot of traffic on the single track road,with people visiting the lovely beaches at Auchmelvich and Clactoll....

"The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harbour and the views from the small deck are beautiful at anytime.the drive up to the cottage is extremely steep and narrow and the turning point at the top is limited. Inside the cottage is spacious and light, but some areas need an update, especially the kitchen. The weather was good and we enjoyed our time there."
