“If you want luxury go elsewhere BUT if you are happy with basic bed and board this was ok. It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights. The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking.”

“The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.”

“Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there.”

“The room was clean but the bed was hard and you needed binoculars to see the TV. We stayed in Kent hall and it seemed like an old office block that has been turned into bedrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great sausages and bacon were overcooked and dry. The parking was not that great either.”

“Located in centre of town there was a lot of noise from people going to and from pubs/clubs, also a lot of boy racers in there cars driving around and around constantly past our room window, we did stay on a Saturday night so probably busier than other nights, but had to have window open due to being hot and no air conditioning, and even with window closed still quite noisy. Made it difficult to sleep till about 2am when people started going home, obviously this is out of the hotel’s control and...

“Trevlig personal! Bra frukost. Lite ljud från trafik på vägen utanför. Vi åt inte middag så vi kan inte uttala oss om den, men restaurangen och puben var välbesökt en fredag kväll.”

“A nice B&B with an old host, a unique kind of building from 1909 with lots of old furniture etc inside. The room was fairly small, they lowered the temperature during night, I had to get up early and it was a bit cold in the room in the morning. Few places to sit outside the room at 6 am. The surroundings are in the better end but still close to some fairly rough areas”

“Just back from a 2 night mini break. Jackie and Rob are so welcoming. The breakfast is fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. Great location for Black Country Living museum. Would highly recommend!”
