Hampton by Hilton Utrecht Central Station
8/10 Bra
"⭐️⭐️☆ ☆ ☆ Great location, but poor service and compensation We stayed 3 nights at Hampton by Hilton Utrecht Central Station during the Solheim Cup. The location is perfect, but the handling of a room defect ruined our experience. The Positives: • Unbeatable location: Very close to Utrecht train station, making commuting to the event incredibly easy. • Mall access: Located inside a shopping mall with great access to shops and dining. The Negatives: • Noisy ventilation: Around midnight, the AC started making a loud, disruptive noise. • No real fix: A technician came but could only fix it by completely disconnecting the AC. • Poor on-site service: The front desk told us to contact the hotel manager, who wasn't available until after our departure. The Aftermath: After multiple emails with the manager regarding compensation for the ruined night, we were offered 10,000 Hilton Honors points. Since a standard room night costs around 100,000 points, this is practically worthless. Offering just one-tenth of a night for a completely sleepless night feels incredibly cheap and lacks proper customer service. Conclusion: Great geographical advantages, but Hampton by Hilton’s complaint management leaves a lot to be desired."

Hotel Mitland

"Super friendly staff. The room was nice and the water pressure in the showers were amazing. We also did not have an issue to get a parking spot. You can reach the city center by a 30 min walk or take the bus."
