Riverside Gîte – La Mare Chappey, Family-Friendly, Heated Pool

La Mare Chappey is a 16th-century Norman manor adapted for families, offering four spacious gîtes—ideal for your family holiday. Enjoy outstanding facilities: a heated pool at 28°C designed for children, bistro and bar with takeaway service, jacuzzi area, indoor activity barn, playground, bouncy castle, and a variety of sports equipment.



Experience the unique atmosphere of La Mare Chappey, set in the Normandy national park countryside on a large estate. Canoeing, fishing, cycling paths, and village shops are just 5 minutes away, Blue Flag beaches 15 minutes, and Cherbourg 25 minutes by car.



Our gîtes are designed to provide you with comfort in a relaxing, historic, and child-friendly setting. Each gîte is fully equipped: dishwasher, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, DVD and CD players, bed linen, secure private patio with barbecue and garden furniture.



You’ll also find a trampoline, table tennis, foosball, football pitch, air hockey, basketball, and boules. Tots equipment pack available free includes high chair, cot, stair gates, baby bath, bed guard, changing mat, potty, toilet seat, etc. Plus toy box.



There's a welcome pack which includes bread, milk, butter, cheese, coffee, tea, and sugar. Cleaning supplies for the kitchen such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and cloths are provided.



Our cottages are not designed for people with reduced mobility, and we are unable to accept bookings as we cannot cater for their needs.



Arrival reception: ring the bell on the main house door with stained glass. Not available after 22:00 to 8:00.

Guest’s responsibility:

- Leave house similar to how you found it

- Strip beds

- Pass a hoover around to ensure floors are largely clean

- Do washing up

- Ensure fridge, cooker, and bathrooms are wiped over
