One of Wintergreen’s premier mountain lodges (near the top of the mountain), this beautifully appointed 9 bedroom & 9.5 bath luxury property is ideal for corporate and executive conferences and retreats, family reunions and vacations, wedding bridal parties, couples weekends, writers’ workshops, and ski, golf, racquet, spa and hiking getaways.
Mountaintop Lodge was built in 2006 as a luxury property, refurbished in 2015 and expanded in 2017. This home has 11 steps to entry. It has 7387 sq. ft. on 4 levels with breathtaking winter Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountain views over the George Washington National Forest to the rear from the 2-story main level Great Room with stone fireplace. It has 3 oversized King Bedrooms with decks, plus 6 other bedrooms, each with its own bath and flat screen TV. The home includes a Private Theater and Conference Room with elevated seating plus large conference table, huge Lounge and Game Rooms on the Middle and Lower Levels with pool table, ping pong table, octagonal card game table and TV seating, mezzanine for casual conversation, dining for 20 and a chef’s kitchen, and is serviced by two enormous furnished decks - - all in an open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows and natural woodwork. The Lodge has private parking for over a dozen cars.
The 5 decks and panoramic wall of windows provide our guests with a deep enjoyment of the canopy and solitude of the National forest with seasonal views of the valley.
As a Wintergreen Resort registered guest, Mountaintop Lodge guests will enjoy access to all Resort facilities. The most significant benefits include access to the exclusive Devils Grill Restaurant, Devils Knob Golf Course and Racquet Center, and the Aquatics and Fitness Center at The Spa at Wintergreen.
Mountaintop Lodge may be booked in conjunction with other Resort lodging and 40,000 sq. feet of conference facilities to meet additional guest needs. Full catering services and housekeeping can be provided to Mountaintop Lodge. The Resort provides full meeting support. Lodge guests enjoy complimentary “on demand” shuttle to/from the ski slopes, restaurants, meeting rooms, aquatic and fitness center, racquet courts, Devils Knob golf course, shops, market and other Resort facilities on the mountain.
