“Location was excellent for us but this is overpriced for what it is, basic. Some gardening and sweeping out the front would provide a better welcome. Entry via a garage roller door is novel but functional, then we were met with the BBQ area with a multitude of chairs and a very dusty table. Already on guard when entering the unit, it didn’t seem clean. Maybe as left by the previous guest with the bed made and fresh towels. On checking we noted that there was plenty of coffee pods but no espresso...

“While the house was well suited for our family, six adults and two grandchildren. Its lack of cleanliness and maintenance was a detractor. I attempted to fix a door lock that we found on the floor upon our arrival. The lock didn’t have the correct screws so it couldn’t be fixed. My daughter got locked in a bathroom and I had to play with the lock to get her out. We called the property management company and they sent a lock smith to fix bathroom door but they didn’t fix lock on sliding door....

“The property wasn’t worth 800 a night and it was more like a 30 min walk to shoal bay beach and not 3 mins like advertised. It was the only reason I booked it. Nothing vintage about the property more like old and wore. The bathroom door is rusty and it’s definitely not a two bedroom apartment. The second bedroom has a hot water service in the cupboards second bedroom. ”
