Vacker skräddarsydd timmerhus belägen på 40 hektar mellan Nemo & Sturgis i hjärtat av Vanocker Canyon. Lägre nivå semester hyra med egen ingång sover åtta i handgjorda Amish queen-over-queen våningssängar. Två uppsättningar dubbla franska dörrar öppnar för de vackra vyerna! Fullt gourmet kök med granit bänkskiva, 60 "HD-TV, DVD, kabel, WiFi, logg biljard, stort lyxigt bad med bubbelbadkar, separat dusch och privat commode, propan grill och uteservering, badtunna bara några steg bort, öring dam (fångst och frisättning är gratis - en liten avgift gäller för att hålla fisk), parkering precis utanför din dörr. ATV: s uthyrning i närheten (gratis spårkartor tillgängliga); direkt tillgång till skogsservice spår.

En dubbel karibisk hängmatta hängde mellan två träd är den perfekta platsen att ta en tupplur medan du kommunicerar med naturen! Wildlife vimlar i detta område! Du kommer att se rådjur, vildkalkon, skalliga örnar, älg och mycket mer. Coyotesna serenader dig från avstånd varje kväll. Vi har flera fågelmatare och fågelhus på fastigheten. Fjällblå fåglar är överflödiga och kommer att förvåna dig med sin vackra sång och deras lysande blå färg!

I augusti 1874 slog general George Armstrong Custer i denna dal. Du kommer att uppleva historia! Boken som beskriver Custers expedition är avsedd för din njutning. Historia buffs kommer att älska det! Med National Forest på tre sidor är detta också en utmärkt plats för vandring och ATV-ing. Direkt tillgång till Kelly Spur Road som förbinder med över 3500 miles av ATV spår.

Köket är fyllt med kaffe, filter, mjöl, socker och en mängd olika kryddor. Handdukar och lakan tillhandahålls. Observera att det finns hundar och katter (de är INTE tillåtna inomhus) på fastigheten ... om det här är ett problem för dig, vänligen välj en annan fastighet. Vi tar emot en eller två små hundar till en liten avgift.

Vår världsklass öring damm är fylld med stor regnbågeöring. Se till att kolla in bilderna! Vi erbjuder fiskepoler, eller är du välkommen att ta med dig egna. Det finns en eldplats ner vid dammen, liksom en kolgrill och picknickbord. Det är det perfekta stället att koppla av och varva ner efter en dag med sightseeing i de vackra Black Hills!

A beautiful property and wonderful owners

Our family stayed here for 4 nights and explored the Black Hills. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking in the area! The trout pond was great for the kids! As stated in the listing, this is only the lower half of the house, as the owners live here full time. We had zero issues with the owners on site while we were there, it was actually nice getting insight from them!

Amazing property

We really enjoyed our stay! Our kids loved the bunk beds and the fishing that we were blessed to do! We enjoyed playing a couple board games that is provided. The host welcomed us with kindness and answered any questions we may have had! The location was perfect for our little family vacation.

If there were a hall of fame for VRBO hosts, Margaret and Derito would be first ballot unanimously elected members. Margaret made us a delicious dessert while Derito cleaned, brined, and smoked us a delicious rainbow trout from their beautiful pond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beauty of our surroundings, but the hosts made this the best experience ever. If you’re planning a stay anywhere near Vanocker canyon this is a great place to spend your vacation.

Valentines Get Away

Our stay was fantastic! My wife and I loved everything about this place. The location has amazing views and wildlife that make you feel so far off the beaten path. The house was comfy and easy to fit right home. What truly made this experience was our hosts. Margret and her husband Derito were so sweet and kind. They checked in on us, made us pumpkin cake, and were truly so kind. It was clear they take so much pride in their space and making guests feel welcome. I will absolutely be visiting again!

Great Stay!

This property is amazing. The home itself is very cozy and has everything you need for your stay. The surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful. We had a great time fishing in the pond and spending time with the residents (both animals and people). We felt like family while we were there. Hopefully we can return soon!

A PERFECT Experience

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay, between the hot tub, pool table, and fishing pond, our kids were in heaven! The kitchen space made it a breeze to cook meals, and the laundry facilities allowed me to return home without any laundry to do. Dorito cooked us a trout one of my daughters caught from the pond, and Margarets homemade brownies lasted a matter of hours. A central location to all the 'must-sees' of South Dakota, this spot is a haven-like retreat. Thank you for your hospitality Margaret and Dorito, we are planning a return trip next year to visit spots we didn't have time for!

Do yourself a favor and stay at this home away from home! Margaret and Derito create the perfect South Dakota vacation experience for you- they are the perfect hosts. They provide a lot of extras- wine on arrival, fresh baked brownies and even preparing trout that we caught in their pond! It is truly a little slice of paradise in the Black Hills and also has a bit of history tied in with General Custer stationing his men on their property during a short time leading up to the battle of the Little Bighorn. We hope to make it back to Nemo someday!

Great place to relax and unwind

Our stay was perfect. The hosts are wonderful people and gave us a few tips on places to go with our little girls. We absolutely loved the place. Beautiful, quiet family friendly property

We were very impressed with the private, serene setting where we felt like we were in the wilderness with all the comforts of home. Hosts were very friendly, hospitable and accommodating! Hot tub while watching deer walk through the woods and meadow was a big treat. Definitely recommend this location and will definitely stay here again if we vacation in the black hills again!

Majestic

Three of us from Pennsylvania stayed here for 1 week. We had an absolutely perfect stay from the moment we arrived! Margaret and Dorito are very special people who are committed to making sure their guests come first! Unfortunately, we were away traveling and exploring the epic scenery from sunrise to late at night and have hoped to have spend more time with them. Beautiful!

The property was absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful! Our host were fabulous! There was wildlife in the area, turkeys, deer and two majestic bald eagles! It was a central location for us to get to where ever we wanted to go.

Relaxed

Terrific getaway for the family. Everything was low key which was perfect. The scerene wooded hills and the valley, comfortable chairs by the pond, and the clear night skies from the hot tub where we've never seen so many stars will be the things we remember most from this trip. Visits from the host's cat and dog, many rounds of 8-Ball on the nice pool table, and the very comfortable living conditions of the basement also leave their mark. The hosts are extremely sweet and accommodating, even stopping by with some well received brownies and ice cream. Love the property and highly recommend!

The best part of an amazing vacation!

Our family absolutely loved staying at Custer Camp. Margaret and Derito are very gracious and it was a pleasure to meet them. The home and property are so beautiful and perfect, like out of a painting. The trout pond is incredible and the home is clean and fun with plenty to do inside and out. We wished we could stay another week just to hang out at the cabin.

Picture Perfect

This place really is picture perfect, it’s that beautiful. Two of the best host I have ever met in my lifetime. I would have loved to stay another week, the weather was fabulous, the scenery was amazing. It’s a quiet,comfortable, peaceful place to relax and just enjoy life. The trout pond is exactly what they say it is, fully stocked, I fished the day before we were to leave,caught a very nice trout. Mr Bonicelli not only cleaned the fish, he sealed it air tight, put it in his freezer, the next morning he give me a cooler put the fish in it, packed it with ice and frozen ice bags for my 22 hour trip back home. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay in this neck of the woods, you will not be disappointed. I want to thank the Bonicelli family agin for their hospitality. Check there place out you will love it

Awesome experience!

House was very neat and clean, and the yard simply beautiful! Enjoyed our time spent at the cabin just as much as the time out and about! Love, loved sitting by the water fall and pond. Hosts were exceptional, giving us plenty of space and privacy, but checking in occasionally and visiting also…even delivering fresh brownies and cucumbers! And filling the hot tub especially for us. Definitely recommend!

Great property and home!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property - the amenities (pool table, pond/fishing, and firepit), location and cleanliness. It was always a sanctuary to retreat to after busy days of seeing the sights around the Black Hills. We will definitely stay again on future visits.
