“Liked the price and William was very attentive. Room was small and spartan but adequate. No TV.”

“Overall a fair 3 star stay. The room was a bit old, flat feather pillows were not for a good nights sleep at all and the chair at the desk looked like it had lost a fight with a pack of wolves. For the most part it was clean and ok. The staff were super nice and respectful. The restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal however. With some updating this would be a much better stay for the money, but I would certainly be comfortable staying again in the future.”

“I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! We came for a girls weekend and the staff was so kind and helpful, the breakfast and complimentary happy hour were great, and our room was adorable and clean! Highly recommend for any trip to the Connecticut shore!”

“The room was way cleaner than anticipated honestly very surprising, sheets felt genuinely clean and the AC worked well, breakfast was good, and continuously maintained, and the staff was really nice, would definitely go there again!”

“Very dirty place. It looks ok but was filthy. We got to choose from two rooms, and at first glance it looked ok. Very dirty floors, hairs from previous guests shaving around faucet, dirty shower curtain, my child itched all night and I hope it was not bed bugs- we slept with the light on rest of the stay… Dirty kitchen table and fridge, steep stairs and no elevator. Insects stuck in bathroom ceiling, very loud AC, lots of trash outside the door, the office was in such a mess etc.”

“There were stairs at each entrance so luggage had to be carried, no ramp. Everything was pretty old looking although clean enough. The WiFi was pathetically slow and difficult to connect to. The breakfast started at 7:00 which was too late for me, I had to leave each morning at seven. It’s not terrible but I’m used to better.”

“Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...

“Room was extremely clean. No frills. Staff was friendly. Room Included everything we needed. Good muffin, bagel, and coffee available in the AM. We would definitely stay here again. Close to Mohegan Sun”

“Good value for money. We stayed 9 days in total and felt very confortable and safe. Room, fridge, microwave, and sheets were clean. Room interior also looks nice.”

“My only complaint was not having a bureau in the room the drawers were small only 2 and were to close to the floor”

“The room had a nice mattress. There were nice towels. The room had rusty ceiling supports. There was water damage on the ceiling over the desk. The carpet needs a good cleaning. The place is under construction and partway into a remodel. The staff wasn't attentive. they were on their phones and didn't notice me at check in or checkout. They were going through the motions. Glad we only stayed one night on a longer trip across the region.”

“Rooms were spacious and clean, its pet friendly, They have great coffee shops near by and grocery stores very convenient location.”

“This is a property that needs an upgrade. The walls, door, and trim all need to be freshened up. The room was clean but had an off smell. There is no coffee maker in the room. The front desk did not offer any additional information at check in. The key card did not always work right. The traffic was also loud outside.”

“We reserved 2 rooms a month ago, asked to be nearby instead were on 2 different floors. Room 2 had sand in the sheets and dirt on cover. Called front desk, was given new sheets, wrong size and had to change ourselves since room cleaning gone for day. Front desk should have offered to change the bed!! Other room was fine. Breakfast was really good, very well kept up with refills. Breakfast room could have been bigger.”
